We didn't have many folks for Thanksgiing this year, but, I still cooked as if we did. I love a big meal with lots of variety.

We had
turkey (roast, on bbq)
gravy
dressing (bread/cranberry/etc
mashed potatoes
brussel sprouts
turnip
salad
pickles
cranberries
wine
corn
buns/butter
sweet potatoes
roast beef.
(trying to remember if anything else)

I like to have a lot of colour on the plate
I really appreciate leftovers....and leftover veggies.

One of our funny traditions is my youngest eats hsi christmas and thanksgiving dinners as a sandwich.
Bun, mashed potatoes, turkey, corn. ---- many of these.

*** Lol, oldestson just reminded me that we had butter, and that for youngestson, it counts as a serving.

I've never seen that list! No perogies (Canadian Ukranian) or varenyky (Ukranian)? What about pyrizhky? Those were my favourite and I think my Grandma used to only make them for Christmas, but started making them for me when we visited because I loved them so much. I've never found anything like what my Grandma used to make around here, which surprised me.
