Don't get distracted by Trump. He's an idiot, of course. But the far, far bigger problem is the takeover of the US by billionaires who increase poverty, drain the economy with war spending. to try to still be a major power while, in reality, the US is in a terminal crash. Watch for much more violence in the middle east as the U.S. has suffered crashing defeats there.

Trump is not the problem. American governments have been warring, murdering huge numbers all over the world. The have created hells all over Latin America. They have invaded at least 70 countries. They have been increasing poverty in the U.S., made it possible for the rich to avoid taxes. The super wealthy have taken over Washington. The American people, stuffed with myths and hatreds - and kept ignorant by a corrupt news media, have no idea where to turn.

Trump didn't do all that. This was on the march when he was born. Getting rid of Trump won't solve the problem. And, at this point, I'm not sure there is a solution to the problem.

The U.S. needs broad and fundamental changes. And I see no evidence it can manage that.

I think Trump is the poster person for the billionaire ruling class saying to the plebs (us): we can do whatever we want and look at this s**t we just served up to you.

Just a note going back a few points. There are far more serious issues than how the White House is decorated for Halloween or Christmas or whatever. Their house (for now.) They can decorate it however the hell they want. I know what I'd say if someone saw my house and started criticizing how we decorated for the holidays. It wouldn't be especially friendly.

How can this be a social problem when social stuff is declared non-existent by the rogues of power ... thus sucking up thoughts and trashing the concept of social democracy as a shift in the republican perspective ... a deep dark hole where thoughts drain?

Then critical thinking about anything to the proposed powers does cause stirs ... not much humour in that stern gathering ...

Humanity bean a peculiar damn thing ... one has to conform to observe or they'll reject yah ... a form of firm dejection ... like unsaved ... because of divers -ite? That final syllable is said to mean an alloyed thingy ... like sintered mettle ...

Truth is Stranger Things than Fiction!

And there are stranger things under the midnight S'N ... when de light was screwed out ... took several soldiers and ... priests as alternates ... and denial was accomplished ... an onxy a' shine ... thus dark!

Creative psyches of vast proportion allowed it ...

It sound extreme to say the U.S. is crashing. But that is what is happening. And the crash is derived from the dominance of Christian, especially Protestant thought, in their lives.

For example, Americans for many, many lifetimes, have been raised a variant of the biblical word that the people of Israel are God's chosen people. In the US, that has taken the form Manifest Destiny - the sense that God has destined the US to rule others.

Very closely related is the so-called "American exceptionalism' which supposedly gives Americans the right to ignore the normal constraints on human behaviour. You can find similar thinking in those who sang the praises of the British Empire.

Kind 'a remind me of Charlie Brown's Christmas tree .. a barren stub ... requiring adornment with some aesthetics ... hated by the stern ... latter day himds ... as odd metaphor ... Balaam's critter? Great Balls a' ...

Well, actually no. Those parts of the house belong to the American people. It's a public site. That's not their private living space. Melania is payed handsomely and part of her role is having a say in decorating decisions. People can criticize if they want to. As as Canadian, it doesn't matter but I was following along with the criticism of one photo, and I was wrong to do that. The White House decorating, overall, looks quite beautiful. It always does, and still does. Melania did a nice job. It's very classical.

I know there are more serious issues. Melania is not Donald...and I am sorry I criticized her. It was unwarranted.

Real Story ... interestingly enough a lot of white houses ... lacking the white washing of the parts of 'THE' White House that 'belong' to 'THE' American people. I don't expect you to watch this ... 'As a Canadian, it doesn't matter' ... at least not as much as Melania doing a 'nice job'.

Oh

I was unfair to Melanie about the WH Christmas decorating. Overall, it looks very nice.

When I watched that video my heart broke for Melania ... you can laugh at me all you want but that woman can not be in her right mind.
  • Multiple Personality Disorder, or Dissociative Identity Disorder, is often described as a defence mechanism that occurs when a person goes through intense trauma. It is the mind’s way of dealing with distressing events. The original MK ULTRA programming exploited this defence mechanism and used hypnotism, electroconvulsive therapy, food/water/sleep/sensory deprivation, drugs, and pleasure/pain reversals to induce ‘splitting’.
  • Once the split has occurred, two or more personalities can live within the same body, each one completely unaware that the others exist.
Ask yourself this - would you - in your right mind - be able to act out that video knowing what was going on outside of the White House Gates?

Given my 'true human nature' - I would not.

Again ...

Everyone here can laugh at me all they want ... but no one seems to be able to come up with a better explanation of how this insanity prevails.

To all the 'Melania' out there - I apologize. I do not want the 'show to go on' but it seems DID, as the defense mechanism for coping with this bread and circuses insanity, is just as prevalent outside your walls as within. Resisting the split and praying for mercy for us all ... Rita

Is somebody going to solve the 'root' problem when Trump is not the president?
well
part of that would involve giving up the relatively new Belief System of having all of our morality on human intimacy being based on "consenting adults"?
and that's a very tangled web l indeed
