An excellent question airclean. I'm honestly both shocked and discouraged at how many Christians I see this year celebrating Halloween. Even friends of mine and past professors have decided that culture is more important than gospel. I just think it's so sad.

You know Seeler this is the way I lived a good part" of my life. A case of beer and a bottle of Rum. Let's get the party started. Nothing wrong with a good party at least 2-3 times a week Ha.

Why would you need beer or rum? and 2 - 3 times a week????
Why not just a few friends getting together, perhaps some music and/or dancing, good conversation, caring and sharing?

Relax ... you know that's all in your mind .. or somehow confined in a book so it can't hurt the physical bode an ... unless you crack an alien book ... an adventure for some ... others can't stand mental stretch as it makes something of nothing ... and off it goes ... like wisp on hello there we neigh ... just a breath of observed sensuality? Hi,
How do you feel about corporations like MacDonalds, as an example of multiple corporations which have hooked a generation of children by the sale of sugar, salt and fat, producing an epidemic of childhood obesity and diabetes? From my perspective this is a matter of much greater concern than Halloween. Yet we hear next to nothing on this health crisis from the various churches in our society. Which makes me very sad.
Just wondering.

Most churches deal with the most dangerous of health issues first. They don't bandaid a knee scrape while the patient has a gaping bullet wound to the chest.

George it is not that which is in our stomach that cause us trouble . But that which is in are Head s". The evil one dose not attack our stomach but are thoughts" that are in our mind's". Almost all food today has sugar and salt in it. I am not saying that's ok . Of Course it would be better to eat healthy foods. But show me a child" that would rather eat greens than a ice-cream or a candy. You have said , you are sent to help, those on the street. In most case's do you believe they would want a salad ". Or a drink" or to shoot up". I know George if you can get( there mind's to say No"). They will stop doing thing's" that hurt themselves" and every one" that LOVE'S Them" Brother. airclean33--Gord.
