We have been through this already. Brother Jae is not aiming to be a minister . . . they don't use this term in his denomination. Pastor, I believe, is the preferred term. Best stick with that. For clarity's sake.

Good article, Kimmio. An area of agreement we share; a distaste for mainstream pornography. It's when we get to that fine line between erotica and pornography that we might get into some grey areas.
 
Has anyone watched the HBO series, the Deuce? There are some good actors in it. I don't have HBO yet - I've just seen clips and read and article by the writer/ director. The same one who did "The Wire". The Deuce is not some sexploitation soap opera about the 70's sex/ porn industry. It's about porn's rise to commercialism and huge corporate profit - and the misogyny that took it there, and how it's shaped our culture today. Much like the show Mad Men did the same with the rise of advertising and misogyny and changing times for women's rights, civil rights - showing how (mostly white male) patriarchy shaped culture through the medium of advertising.

Advertising and porn are cousins that benefit from each other.

Some women are now taking to growing their armpit hair in protest and/ or celebration that "Yes, women have body hair" and dying it bright colours. Lol. Why not?

A Swedish model did an ad for Adidas runners and showed her leg hair and got all sorts of social media backlash - including rape threats.
