I did a bit of knitting today - jacket is coming along - doubt it will be finished by the end of the year but one never knows.

Alberta is notorious among historians for its string of political wackos. How many remember the financial scheme called Social Credit? That was the product of 'Bible Bill' Aberhart.
Oh, and Jae, fret not. I was not trying to 'get' you. Churches are almost never known to challenge popular thinking no matter how wacky it gets. For the last 2,000 years, Christians have been major causes of invasions, mass killings and plunder. But it's almost unknown for churches to be critical. (Think of Hitler and the German churches.)

Christians are remarkably unChristian. Always have been. That's why Trump gets much support from the Bible Belt. (I'm not personally blaming you. It's just there.)

Our weather luck may change. We have a severe windstorm coming down on us.

Graeme my father knitted in school as did all in the class. They made bandages for the Red Cross. I am sure you do not want to imply that my father is not manly.

Last after a pleasant 60 km bike ride along the river valley. Today was 19 degrees and tomorrow is forecast for 5 degrees. Tomorrow's ride may be to church and back and no more.
