I am working within the teachings of a Christian framework that informs me, so the answers I seek sometimes require back up from scripture and other sources. I realize you do not abide within that framework, which is fine.Neither do your beliefs, but that doesn't stop you.
I am asking if God and Jesus are now one or if there are two Gods in heaven? One we have to use as mediator (Jesus) and the other one who listens to what Jesus has to say. Is Jesus one with God in heaven again or two? And where is the scripture that supports your answer? He ascended on high. Do you believe he has already returned to Earth?

An author may write a book. That author has no control over how the book will be read or represented.
The Spirit of God is like the wind. This wind animates much. It affects much. It controls nothing.
What we see in any interpretation of the text is the interpreter. Sad when that interpreter assumes control over the interpreted text; claiming to be the arbiter of the text's meaning and implication.
Here is a text by which I was inspired and encouraged: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

--I know your at supper Jae. Please Enjoy. Your right Jae there are Seven. There is only one God. Therefore, there cannot be two Gods in Heaven. God the Father, and God the Son are two different persons in God. They are not different Gods. I might remember to look for Scripture for you when I get home. Right now, I'm enjoying supper out.

I'm not sure what the difference between non-theistic and a-theistic is, they both seem to say the same thing. But I agree that Buddhism doesn't reject the existence of gods or God, it's more a matter of outsiders and critics not understanding Buddhism. I think their biggest tenet is that nothing stays the same in the Universe. God, therefore, being eternal by definition, cannot exist in a ever changing landscape.I would suggest that Buddhism is non-theistic rather than a-theistic, in that its basic principles and worldview don't require a god. I don't believe, however, that Buddhism necessarily rejects the existence of a god or gods or God.
Please explain the seven parts of the Godhead and what scripture this information comes from.--Parts of The GOD Head.
Do you believe in the Trinity airclean?
Just wondering how seven godheads fits in with the trinity?Do you?
Just wondering how seven godheads fits in with the trinity?
You are being a little antagonistic here Jae. People sometimes simply ask questions to hear somebody else's point of view.If you believe in the Trinity, why did you ask me if Jesus and God are two Gods?

I very much appreciate the stories about Danial. A fine example of fidelity in the face of power. As to a literal understanding of the story, I feel sad for any taking this path.--Hi GeoFee--which is The GOD it you said was the one you follow?
