Why is it people most routinely post in black? I'm kinda partial to green.

Hey, post in any colour you like as long as it's not moderator purple. Though, yellow can be hard to read on this background.

Technically, what the Moderators have requested is that we regular members not post in a certain shade of purple in bold text. Anyone can post in purple.

I did say "moderator purple", Jae.

Yes John it would take work. But I believe it is worth doing. For as it is now" we are not upholding Jesus word". Love one another as I have Loved you".

Well then, how do you intend to uphold Jesus word moving forward?

We are very willing to kill" one another. Just because they don't believe exactly as we do. The Irish are a good example of this.

Ummmmmm. What people would not be a good example of killing one another? And while there was a lot of blood and violence in Ireland they have had peace since March 2007. So maybe a better example of how, with work, two groups with different ideas about things don't have to try and push one another to the brink of extinction.

We should learn this before we think we can love someone' in the world. The church is on the wrong side of Jesus The Christ".

And yet scripture proclaims the church to be both the body and bride of Christ. So maybe we should start looking at the church through Christ's eyes so that we can see the beloved that Christ sees. Otherwise we resemble the elder generations of the Montagues and Plantagenets preferring the death to those our younger generations find beloved.

Jesus being the one thing we all agree up on.
God Bless--airclean33

Perhaps if we remind ourselves of that in the midst of disagreement we will put better feet forward.

Maybe you meant Montagues and Capulets? Plantagenets were an English Dynasty that included Richard I (among others), though they had no scruples about killing folk who got in the way either.

Yeah Romeo and Juliet not one of my favourites. I was tempted to go with Hatfields and McCoys but a brain fart at the time cross-referenced with the parody version of Hatrocks and Flintstones.

Still, not bad yanking Plantagenet out of the dusty memory pile. At least they were somebodys.

I believe Rev John we as Followers of Christ recognise The Christ for who He is John1: 1. Then we must teach those who are already in our churches' to recognise other Denominations as Bothers in Christ. That we all belong to one church.

--Airclean--post--Yes John I understand the north and south of Ireland have made peace. In that they don't kill each other. Would you like to ask an Irish man". If he thought his church" and the other are Brothers?

This John ' you and I agree on . That there is but one Church" on the earth of Christ Jesus". How can you say I Love The World". And yet Hate Your Brothers". We are Family members of The Family Of GOD.

---Perhaps it is time Rev . We must understand" if We Don't Have Love For our Bothers Here. Another Brother on High" may find no LOVE in us". airclean33--Gord. God Bless John.

What is Theology ---a Study is all -----No Theology can teach anyone spiritual insights only the Holy Spirit can do that -----

The anointing you received from Christ lives in you. You don’t need anyone to teach you something else. Instead, Christ’s anointing teaches you about everything. His anointing is true and contains no lie. So live in Christ as he taught you to do.

"Jesus grew in wisdom, stature and favour with God and man." Luke 2:52

"He learned obedience from what He suffered." Hebrews 5:8

Interesting that Jesus was required to grow in wisdom and had to LEARN to obey God.

He had a dual nature - divine, and human. So, yes, in his human nature he needed to learn and to grow.

I think part of growing and maturing is learning to be in harmony with who we are, to obey our own conscience and nature as it is. So the human Jesus needing to learn to live with, and obey, his divine nature and calling seems quite in keeping with being human to me.

Why interesting? Doesn't any human need to do these things? I would find it far more interesting if he came out of the womb having all wisdom and no need to learn. (Interestingly, in fact, there's a passage in the Koran that has baby Jesus speaking not long after being born.)

I was trying to point out to unsafe and airclean, that theology has its purpose and merits for learning, Imho.

--Waterfall--Do you understand 'The Christ was 2-parts same as you are . The flesh is not in oobedience" and must learn To obey GOD". It is The Spirit of a person that comes from God. Our Father is Spirit Your Flesh is of no avil. In Jesus's case . That was GODs Spirit That had control of the flesh. Jesus only man to go through life without Sin.-- All Glory Is GODS.
