I never work as an aged man ... just work with demons that bring some people down ... vanities of vanity ... pride is like that and I'm not to proud to learn of new things and move along ...

Sometime this sets me apart like segregation does ...

Okay...I've been a little busy...two more newspaper bowls and a newspaper plate completed...

Just attended a celebration of life for a man who disappeared while canoeing on the river in June. It was a very suitable tribute to his life.

There have been a number of recent drownings in AB - sad.

This was a tragic event. He and two women went out on the canoe that morning. At some point the water raised 15 metres and dumped them out of the canoe. They were floating on a log for a couple of hours until they got to the spot we were today. He made sure the women got to shore. He didn't have the energy to swim to shore. He likely died shortly after that. There very easily could have been three deaths that day.

I have coffee this morning and some coughing. It's a smoky day here again. It's a little worse than yesterday. That being said, people in parts of BC are getting some fresh air for a change. They need the break. I can handle it.

The smoky haze has settled in here...overall, we are fortunate.

Wrestled with a migraine all last night. Took 2,000 mg of pain reliever, and did some praying. Thankfully, I was able to sleep for about 6 hours. Still have a touch of the headache this morning.
