Being led to ones death, I would hardly think so.....but I am curious as to why one was spared and not the other.....because they seem to be the same story in many ways.
That is *exactly* what you're suggesting! If all three were in on the fake murder attempt, that means it's not a murder attempt. It makes it drama class.

You cannot impose our culture, morals, etc. on that time.
So....people have improved on the morals from the bible. Which has been one of my points here for years.

People were willingly, intentionally killing their own children for favor from Molech. It was normal. Like killing the unborn is now.
So God, seeing all this offspring-icide, decides he wants to get in on some of that.

Well, you do read the bible like it's part of the "Choose Your Own Story" series...
No it just makes me wonder if crucifixion is necessary for Christ's message of the kingdom to exist.....as Paul would say, there is no salvation without the cross....but Islam states that Jesus wasn't crucified.....it seems Abraham might be telling us that too.
Just thinking out loud.

Also, I bet Jesus didn't kill that fig tree, and that it lived to a ripe old age.

I'll just insert something about planks and specks here. Positive reinforcement of something you are catching on to. Nothing to do with this subject, but hey, slow but steady wins the race. I think Moses said that.

But why would Islam's view of Jesus be relevant to a Christian? Their texts are even more remote in time from his time than yours so are likely entirely composed of doctrine and fable. Islam learned about Jesus from Christians and then developed their own view (because the whole Son of God thing doesn't fly with their extremely transcendent understanding of God). You at least have some texts close enough to his time to have some historical validity.

Sarah died shortly after all this at the age of 127, and Isaac was born to her in her 90's.....so some say.

some say , hmmm ok, but many say God tested Abraham's faith and scripture latter teaches why

All them you dont believe. Im sorry you make no sense at all in your reasoning, Chasen is right God & Abraham collaborating were just acting
