I have enjoyed hosting this thread and was pleased to see it featured in the Promoted Threads on the WC2 Home Page.

A first for me! But we don't seem to get awarded any points for this.

None of the fundamentalists I know believe that that's the exclusive role for women. No thanks for the stereotype.
Oh right, Jae. i forgot, you let them out of the kitchen but you don't let them be pastors of Word. Got it. (oh, and a bunch of fundamentalists also don't want a female president).

Anyhow, this sidetrack occurred due to conversations regarding people being railroaded out of the denomination due to "High Christology and fundamentalist views"

I was solely giving examples that would likely find a minister at odds with united church of canada practices.

Why do you say, "you" Pinga? I am not, and never have been, a fundamentalist. I don't know of any great move of fundamentalists to stop there from ever being a female president (president of what? The USA I presume you mean).

*shrugs* I don't know. Your reasons for falsely stereotyping fundamentalists are your own.

I have spun up a different thread: http://www.wondercafe2.ca/index.php?threads/keep-women-in-the-kitchen.2991/

Sorry, @paradox3 - back to Cruxifusion.

Thanks for bringing this up. I found it really interesting and informative although I don't know if I commented before this. I find a fair bit of the church talk boring and stuff that doesn't really affect me to be honest, but this topic was different. I was actually going to put this as a promoted thread but someone beat me to it!

Without a crucible ... how would anyone cook something up as hued fabrics?

Best if a bit shady and causing interest and curiosity ...
