Thank you. I just wanted to brag on myself, I've just gotten some really good grades back. It's a system new to me but all assignments together so far I've gotten 24.2 points out of 25 possible. My wife is making progress too. She flew through her first two classes before being slowed down by a science class but she's getting it. Pretty soon she'll have the last general classes out of the way and will focus on her major.
 
AS the old adage states ... learning goes on .. faster when out of the presence Tatum ... the iffy emotional singularity?

Those are good grades Jon! May I ask, who is your school accredited by?

In your studies will you learn stuff not known previously as an isolated authority?

Will that be the pain of learning to drift back towards Moliere's stance on E'coles of des Femmes ... an Ephraim Genre ?
 
Thank you all so much. I am going to Ashford University online and my wife is attending Western Governor's University. It's still going well for both of us. It's more work that I expected, being very concentrated, but I'm pushing through. My wife is in the midst of a large powerpoint presentation for a science class. It's been more difficult for her than the first two classes but after this the general college classes are done and she'll be in her major.
 
Yes - I think back to school is often a surprise in terms of workload! And to add it to your already busy schedule as parents & employees ... good for your for making all the adjustments & working toward a brighter future! Hang in there!!

Nice. I see that Ashford University is accredited by WASC Senior College and University Commission. That puts it on the same level of schools as American University of Armenia, Art Center College of Design, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and United States University.

Did you even bother to look at the full list of schools accredited by WASC or are you picking and choosing one that let you put Ashford down? In fact, also puts it on the same level as USC, UC Berkeley, and most other major West Coast universities.

All US universities are accredited by these commissions so you can't say that being accredited by a commission means anything more than they meet a minimum standard to be accredited. Harvard is accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges' (NEASC) Commission on Institutions of Higher Education which accredits all the universities on this list: https://cihe.neasc.org/about-our-institutions/roster. Some really good, old colleges there and some new, perhaps iffy ones.

Sometimes jae, I wonder if it's even possible for you to stop pissing on/disrespecting others good news or successes in your own troll-like way. Must be sad a way to live, having such perspective on the world.

Now, I realize you will simply reply that "oh no - I was not pissing on anybody - simply asking a question or stating facts, what's wrong with that?" That lack of awareness - or denial of awareness - of the impact of your own behaviour and words seems so counterproductive or incompatible for someone endeavoring to pastor to others and touting loving ways.

Carolla - I had never heard of Ashford University before. I was expressing happiness for @Jon71 that his school was on par with the others I named.
 
Two points -

First to @Pr.Jae - your post was clearly intended to call the credentials of Ashford University into question. Please don't be disingenuous by denying that, and please don't assume that the rest of us aren't able to discern what your intent was.

Second to @BetteTheRed - ad hominems aren't a helpful way of approaching a discussion. I'm going to delete the post in question as it adds nothing to the discussion at all except a personal insult.
