Cleaning and tidying inside is the LAST thing I want to think about right now - since it will be a HUGE job to clean the basement...though, once my niece is in school (less than 3 weeks away!) I should have loads of time to get things done.

Only if you wish to escape home (or hommoe/common) difficulties (a difficulty doing what mother and father dictate under their umbrella)? Tis common for those not letting go in either directions ...

I continue to do battle against nature to prevent nature from swallowing me up prior to the adequate time.

In replacing a sick tree I'm considering A Japanese "umbrella pine" anyone can feed me some info and intelligence on their attributes? With info I could work with my known and unknown desires ... in case I discover something that would deny or trash that concept in the present situation!

Happy Tuesday. Had a fun ride into work and a fun ride home in nice Summery weather in the high 20's. Sure hope the warm dry air lasts.

What you can do with word is frightening to some that despise strange words ...

Holland has pleasant, if not great, cuisine. The food markets are so clean and orderly, one feels guilty at buying and eating the food. A great experience is to go to a barge restaurant on one of the canals. They serve a sort of huge crepe wrapped around a very enjoyable meal.
Another feature is streets of ordinary flats - but with nearly naked women posing in large windows. (Also some of men.)
And just about everybody speaks English - and French - and German - and Italian. And they speak them very fluently.
The Dutch also commonly leave their living room curtains open in the evening, and with the lights on. I have no idea why. The French and Belgians close them up with iron shutters.
