A train, anywhere, anytime. It sounded even better when it was a big black steamengine rolling down the track.

Agreed, but for me there is something particularly haunting about a train at night in the middle of what many soul consider nowhere. It takes me back to my childhood when we'd run to catch a glimpse of the train through the back cottage windows. And that just reminds me of all the joys of that place. The salt water of the Bay Chaleur. Walking the beach searching for sand. The utter delight of fresh strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb, and sours. Things a kid like me from Ontario didn't usually get to experience, but could due in part to Ontario and New Brunswick being part of the same great nation.
