Happy Monday, all. Cold and overcast here. Got several important pieces of paper to the accountatnt today, hopefully the tax returns will be done without any big problems.
How is everyone this fine day? WHERE is everyone this fine day?
 
A few things have become apparent to me.

1. I've spent entirely too much time in this Last Post thread.

2. Save Wondercafe2 itself some day closing, there's never going to be a last post on this thread. We're at over 12,000 posts now with no sign of coming to an end.

3. There is already someone here on the thread (not me) who should be declared the "winner." I say that based on both quality and quantity of posts made.

4. I really can't take any more of a certain regular to this thread prattling on about how grand their life is in the luxury of their first-class, deluxe solarium.

For those reasons, I'm out.
 
Niece and I to Stettler - mom sobbing her eyes out when we left because I said she couldn't go...I checked store websites before we left and they said stores were open on Monday but when we got to the stores their signs said closed Monday. Only good thing is we saw a friend and got hugs...I found a new winter coat (the one I currrently wear I bought in 1992)...and niece got a chance to hear herself on the radio when she called in to request a song on the way home.

Wow. I thought my last one lasted a long time but your old one has it beat by a longshot. Though mine is technically still around - Little M is using the inner down jacket that zipped in to become the lining as his ski jacket. We're not actually sure what happened to the shell, but think we must have tossed/donated it since we can't find it anywhere in the house.

I've worn this one every winter except 2 milder ones since '92...overall, it is still a good jacket but the cuffs and pockets are about to fall off and the fabric is ripping in such a way that I can't repair it. This one is a dressier jacket than the one I just bought but the new one has a hood which will be better in the long run.
