Stubbornness is a quality that may prolong an argument. I've had that comparison made for me. But I think the arguments started over values and ethics and persisted due to stubbornness.

I'm sorry to the powers that be, in this group but I felt this needed to be said.Well unbelievers have not the capacity to understand the True Believer for one thing ---the True Believer to an unbeliever is foolish -----so the unbelievers call the True believers a**holes ----
and so the Unbeliever is really Judging the True Believer -----in my way of thinking ----
Well Unbelievers think that True Believers are the worst members of Society because ---Unbelievers have not Spiritual insight to even begin to think otherwise ------they think like the World and Act like the Word acts -----so again they have not the Spiritual understanding needed to see different
So they attack and Judge the True Believer --------like your doing here ------
Well you can think that of course -----but your just showing here that your thinking is of course where it should be for being under the god who rules this world -----

OH There is the Truth of it ------You definitely Can't Believe because you have not the capacity or Spiritual knowledge to Believe ------so to you it is not Credible ---it is foolish which is right thinking for the World you live in ------

Well what makes it worth Opposing Is Satan who wants you to Oppose it ----that is his job ---to keep all unbelievers shackled to his way of thinking ----and Satan does an excellent job at spitting out his deception upon people ------and that is the real damage that is taking place -----

Well ---first the Faith that comes from God ----IS NOT OUR FAITH -----IT IS Jesus' Faith that is inbirthed in us via the Word when we accept God the Father's Drawing to Have our Hardened Hearts changed ----to accept the Word -----
Discernment comes from Christ Faith via the Holy Spirit -------so Discernment is never manufactured by us -----it is a gift given to the True Believer ----

Well --First--the word Christian is misused and abused and means nothing today -------Calling ones self Christian does not mean they are Born of the Spirit ----many use the Term I think cause it Sounds Good ---

Unsafe. That was the most underhand way of being nasty that I have ever come across. You hide contempt behind scripture and emojis, then present it as righteousness. We see the game. You are not engaging with anything that was actually said. You are using your belief as a shield that excuses you from thinking, listening, or taking responsibility for the impact of your words.
You keep saying that unbelievers cannot understand, which is simply a convenient way to dismiss every criticism without ever examining yourself. That is not discernment. It is a closed loop where you are always right and anyone who disagrees is always blind. It is lazy, and it is cowardly.
You accuse people of being under Satan, lacking capacity, or being spiritually dead. You dress it up as truth, but it is only arrogance. If faith produces good fruit, none of what you wrote would qualify. It reads as superiority, not spirituality.
We are not here to debate your beliefs. We are pointing out your behaviour. What you wrote is not loving, not wise, and not something anyone would admire. If you want others to take your faith seriously, start by showing the basic respect you expect in return.

I think we often do that....we may differ in opinion/belief but not so much in how we interact with the world
After several years here, we know very little about unsafe. We only know that according to unsafe most of us are going to hell - even Christians who are the wrong kind. We’re pretty used to it. It’s too bad because there is a real person under all that, that maybe we could find common ground with. But we’re not worthy.

Very true. Beyond a certain evangelical zeal, Unsafe is a bit of a mystery to me. Every so often, we get glimpses of her kindness and her sense of humor.
Unsafe is confident of her own salvation, that's for sure.
Of course such individuals are not true Christians and lack the indwelling Holy Spirit, according to Unsafe. To say nothing of looking through worldly glasses instead of spiritual ones.
Yup. As Princess Anne said about her brother King Charles, what you see is what you get.
I have had lots of interaction with Unsafe on Snoopy's bible study threads. Although we are quite contrary-minded, we have come to appreciate each other's efforts. Unsafe often has me pulling out my Bible and looking up various commentaries.
Our common ground would be our interest in exploring the scriptures.

Just checking (and I think I know the answer), are you aware of the damage you are doing to Christianity with every interaction you have on this subject?
Are you aware how you're actively pushing people away from it?
Are you aware how happy you make people like me, who wish people would move away from faith?
You use images and animations to taunt like a teenager would. You are beyond arrogant. Like blackbelt, AC33, SnP, Stephen Booth and other "true" believers we've seen here, if I had the opportunity to construct an opponent to my position, I could not in good conscience come up with any of you. It would feel like cheating. Like you're doing my work for me.
If we assume this God of yours is real, and wants people to believe, he would be mad as hell at you. I don't understand how you don't see that. I don't write this thinking that you'll gain any sense of self-awareness - just to note the cult-like place you're in as a warning to others. The animation that should be attached to every post you make is a waving red flag. It could be your avatar.

I mean, that post is a valid observation of a series of rather negative and dismissive posts in this thread. Are those the contributions you were hoping for?
Related: I’m in a coffee shop on my scooter and a woman sat down at the table beside me. She asked what my disability is. Told me she’d been injured and used a scooter for a bit. Then as she was about to leave she told me she’s a Christian and asked if she could pray for me. I felt awkward. She said “you can say no.” I said, “Uh. Okay. No thanks. I’m a Christian too but I do that quietly. Thanks for asking though.” And then I kind of felt bad for turning her down. Not because I wanted her to say a prayer for me out loud in public but because she seemed like she was a sincerely kind person (she grabbed my coffee off the serving counter a few minutes earlier because it was a bit of a tight squeeze to get to it) and she wanted to be nice. I feel like I made her feel bad.
