Looks to me like pumping his fist and mouthing ‘fight’ was what kept them from getting him into a vehicle several seconds sooner. Had he cooperated and not tried to provide a photo op, it would have been faster. This seems, to me, to be on Trump, not the SS.

Thing is, had that roof been secured as it should have been, how the Secret Service handled Trump would be moot. The guy wouldn't have had a vantage point to make the attack, or would have been dead as soon as he showed the gun. So that's the bigger failure IMHO.

I absolutely agree. He's, for lack of a better word, a puppet for the movement that wants a more "conservative" nation. He's also a master at playing the media and putting on a show.
