I'll turn to The Economist or The Guardian before most US sources (or the Beeb if we are sticking to TV/digital). And for US sources, it's ABF (Anyone But Fox). North American media on both sides of the border are horribly insular compared to something like The Economist.
 
We watch very little American news. When we do, we watch small doses on YouTube and the like. Most media and news outlets have content there and it is nice bite sized pieces. We've discovered Australian content there. It is interesting to see their perspective

It is a tragic day for America. The implications are far bigger than just "killing babies". Banning abortions does not prevent abortions. It prevents safe access to abortion, or to services which help the woman decide. When women can go somewhere safe to discuss their options, the number of abortions can be reduced. Women now will be going to back alley butchers again. Rich women will be able to go to places that do perform abortions.

f*** I hate when Margaret Atwood is right. When will Gilead be official? :mad:
 
Trump's legacy will be 'sealed' when he begins serving his 25-to-life prison term that he so richly deserves. I've never trusted Trump, since he announced his candidacy for President, and the revelations of the public hearings of the January 6 investigation have shown that I was right all along. His 'legacy' is not confined to this one unfortunate Supreme Court decision; not by a long shot. It also includes all the lying about the 2020 election, (and, for that matter, 2016), his bungling of the Covid-19 pandemic, his bullying of state and local election officials (and his literally endangering many of their lives), his alienation of allies, and the way Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin both played him like a cheap plastic ukulele. THOSE will be the part of his "legacy" that will be remembered, long after a future Supreme Court panel sets Roe v. Wade right again.

And we won't go into his disastrous trade deals, his mishandling of the economy, his hilarious tax cuts (How many tax cuts result in HIGHER taxes for middle class families?) and his nonexistent replacement for the ACA (which he will announce in two short weeks.......)

And after another organization fails because of empire-ism! Excessive constructs ... must come down --- nemesis! And why do I get the impression that neigh MS resembles a psyche essence? It may be that innate gnawing sensation ... then some have gno sis ... it is a complicated departure.
