I don’t know! Habit again, I guess. You’re the only one online if I’m up in the middle of the night/ early morning. It’s like reading the cartoons in the morning paper. Or reading the stock exchange numbers (which aren’t my thing), wondering if there are cartoons hidden in them but finding depressing, or at least confusing, stuff.

Luce, some things you said got my guard up. You know. That’s another reason why it’s hard to “ignore”. I’ll leave it at that and move forward.

Trump was put into the White House to persuade conservatives to go along with a control grid.

The asset managers knew that Trump was the best North American battering ram for the job.

IMO the security apparatus manifesting is of far more concern than the staged political theater.

ICE is a precursor, apolitical in terms of what it represents beyond the immediate affair.

Higher powers than Trump are GENERATING unrest.

It is being replicated worldwide in variations of the same form.
 
Do folk require a guard up given our tendency to being at the mercy of brutes, kings, emperors and Czars?

Do elbows become exposed ... all is metaphor for the metaphysics because the psyche and Ur processing are unreal ...

Even if that were true, Trump signed up for it, fully knowing it was the highest office of the land and wanting the power of the job, and the attention. He had wealth and power and he wanted to have more of it, unlimited. Don’t make him out to be an innocent pawn who was simply used, when he was striving for the job and all the perks of being POTUS. And he got the job, twice. And he went out and promoted himself, his agenda, to stadium crowds - using his hypnotic entertaining skills and weird charisma to grow a movement. He sowed division with his mouth and his sharpie. He cultivated the kind of crowd that would riot at the Capitol. He gave orders for the ICE raids. He’s top dog at the moment whether we like it or not. The no kings rallies spoke directly to that. Support for him is slipping though. Obviously.

Not if they push out election officials with armed militia. It’s not even high level reality-tv and internet land shenanigans anymore, to disrupt and divide. It’s a full-on fascist take-over. But one could argue the tv and web shenanigans are part of it because Trump has lulled or coaxed them into submission with entertainment while the harsh realities get worse and now we all have to live in the middle of a bad show…(Bannon :mad: )

That's what I would hope. Not to mention organized efforts to protect voters from ICE over-reach at the polls.

It would create chaos and reducing the amount of voters. People usually want to stay out of trouble. Especially the ones that are already aimed at by ICE. They will not be in Republican states, so it won’t change their votes. Everything else will be put as “ fake news”.
