I was at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg last year. Rage Against the Machine, an American band known for angry protest music in the 90’s, was featured in an exhibit there. Bulls On Parade (look it up), was the song played on a big screen at the entrance to the exhibit. It’s critical of gun proliferation and the confluence of right wing family values in the US. The whole place is amazing - all the exhibits are worth seeing.

A continuance of that exhibit, featuring a bunch of protest music and artists, is at the BC Museum now. Go see it if you can (after the BCGEU strike is over as there’s a picket line there). It’s on until January. I just want to say that Canada still believes in human rights and free expression, as we should, but those rights are not and should not be confined to a museum, ever. Never, ever. We need to pay attention or lose them to museums.

The bull is always on parade as we love power versus a fragile humility ... wee doggies?

You’re right. I gave people space to answer. But it isn’t a politically controversial question about a controversial organization whose leader was just made into a political (and seemingly even a religious) martyr - asked at a fraught moment while high tensions are being taken out on people with criticisms (that’s the kicker). Different kettle of fish.

Did you go looking for that out of spite?

Maybe you’re right that I went after you too hard for your opinion. You’re not likely to change my mind about much so let’s just not engage it’s not worth it. Peace is only possible with reasonable separation ... some cultures support long houses and sweat lodges ... and many complex arrangements ... free medium, press, speech and other moves are nailed by the effect of money to eliminate anything of constitutional oaths ... so expect constitutions to die until the power exhausts itself trying to understand why its undertones have been quieted and there is no one to perform the crappy work of hated critical thought ... only good thoughts?

Thus something is washed out ... and we cannot explain what or where it went ... homological folly? Across the board extinctions due in imbalance ... inequity! It just lies there ... laid out conspiracy ... plots buried ... we do not see what's happening ... that's fate as faith in avoiding the pain an panes ... windows of heaven? Dark in Eire eh?

Teaching? Out of the question it costs the cop*ers ... *= H space ... de Ark ... and storms are on the horizon ... eliminated by a felt pen? Simple icons by Oracle ... witchcraft? As long as one is blind ... no worry! Thus we drink ... Charles Baudelaire ... and the greed for life ...
