Do things beyond stoic indoctrination ... approach educational and mind expansive anti temporal-isms?

Tis simply beyond those indoctrinated in being and find it difficult becoming more sol-full! A major conflict in parallel religious etudes ... over which the isolated cannot gather any spirit about the word; "ecclesiastic"! Thus naiveté in the real world spreads ... virtue collects at a point ... resembling Occam's Razor at fringe condition ... where reality shifts into perspiration, aspiration, or something metaphorical!

Where is the scripture that says thou shall not need to use the quote function or proper spelling or correct grammar?
--Hi Neo --That's one of the great things about GOD. He takes that weaker part of you , and raise you up. Of course I don't often write GOD , we speak to each other. You don't think that's why He don't ask me to write , do you?;)

Thus the script was in err due to moral majorities ... but perhaps not from those out of here ... in eternal Terre Tory-ism! Cantu Libra?

Hi Pontifex,

"Their religion was fraudulent" John MacArthur

"They were lovers of money" John MacArthur

"Hell is for religious people." John MacArthur

"They are like the rich man...." John MacArthur

"They were the original inventors of the prosperity gospel" John MacArthur

"Loving money. Serving money not God." John MacArthur
"We all have the disease and Jesus is the only cure. He is not bitter medicine." Pontifex

Just like the rich man in the parable, the rich young ruler found the medicine Jesus offered too difficult to swallow. He turned away from the opportunity to follow Jesus into the newness of life. He turns away to persist in his understanding of prosperity as the sign of God's blessing. To all who are secure in the way of this world, who profit by the structures of exploitation and oppression, Jesus presents a major problem. In his day this problem was solved by silencing Jesus. We know that this failed. Jesus is alive and well in the presence of God to continue the call for repentance. This in the light of Moses and the prophets. Not in the darkness of the temple religion deeply compromised by its accommodation to Herod and the way of this world. Which it the way of power, profit, pride, privilege and prestige.

The basic difference between my perspective and many is located in a short phrase from the prayer Jesus taught folk to pray: "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." I read text and tradition as the call for justice without which there can be no peace. Is it not written: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free." This is what I see Jesus doing in the gospel. This is what I look for in the body of Christ in history.

Sorry you totally lost me. We were talking about how people post not what they post.

Love the selective style-policing that goes on here at WC2. @airclean33 and I get told off by various people if we post in unorthodox styles. @Luce NDs, after his 3-day ban, has been free to post however he so chooses. :D
Luce has a style. This part of your game is to post randomly, or by quick picking words from your phone's prediction software. That's not a "style" - that's simply not caring about anyone or anything but your own amusement.

Good morning Jae. It is fine they are just posting like this. Because they can't find scripture to back there beliefs.
If there is a God, can you imagine how hard he cringes every time you post? The Holy Spirit is probably pulling on your finger each time, trying to keep that finger off your mouse button or screen, while God is screaming, "You're not helping!!!"

Jesus is just sobbing in a corner.

--Hi Chansen --You are listing to Christians .For our Lord has great feelings for all living. But chanson it is not I , who the Lord is crying for . It's you", He don't cry for the saved . He cry's for the lost ,those who will not accept Him". That's right even well in sin He Loves us. This is what He came an died for chanson ,you.

Can you imagine...an all-powerful deity, watching people knowingly breaking his laws and weeping for the decisions they are making. Knowing that he has to do something, he sends down his son - his own son - to die. So that we may yet live. It's a powerful story. It changes hearts and minds and opens people up to the endless possibilities of God. It's a story that need messengers and defenders.

And then you post on WC2 and f*** it all up.

The God you believe in probably hates me. I mean, part of him should. I've taken so many pot shots at the concept of Him that he can't be all happy with me by now. I've been despised by more demonstrably real beings before - I'll be okay. But whatever the God you believe in feels about me, he can't be any happier with you. If God has a job for you, promoting and defending the faith is not it.

And another voice of criticism gets added into the mix. :D Seems to always be the same people criticizing others round here. :)

That's what you do. You amuse yourself. No one can make you laugh like you can.

Thus po' phoqah are hated by the rich and we'll juiced ... grapes of wrath exposed in the top layers?

Hi George,

I didn't see this till now. Pretty sure you don't actually have much belief in heaven and hell, but I do. Anyway, my vision of heaven has nothing to do with justice. Jesus delivered no justice. He delivered mercy. Justice is not good news. Mercy is good news.

You are going to find mercy in heaven.

Justice in hell.

There's two distinct 'types' of justice. Retributive justice, to which you, PG13, refer. You think of crime and punishment, right and wrong, "judgment". There's another type of justice, a systemic justice - "distributive justice", in which every person is guaranteed "enough". That's the sort of justice to which George, and Jesus, refer.

Hi,

In the Torah we find a people in the wilderness, having been liberated from the bondage of the Egyptian power structures, by which they were exploited and oppressed. God liberated them by the intercessions of Moses.

In the wilderness daily bread is provided. Each gathering as they are able. Each participating at the table as they have need. None having too much and none having too little. This is the dream of the kingdom come on earth as in heaven. In every generation persons have been called to sow the seed of such possibility. In every generation they have been resisted and refused by those powers by which the earth and its peoples are spoiled. Sad to see and admit the deep complicity of Christianity.

I practice mercy and seek justice on earth. Mercy as the opening door and justice as the way home.

George

What would the world look like if everyone had a sustainable living income, and then the wannabe rich could fight over the cream?

The days of oligarchy are ending. The will of the people will finally bring it to an end.
