"Have nothing to do with people who continue to teach false doctrine after you have warned them once or twice." unsafe

Hi,

Well, you have warned me at least once or twice. Maybe time for you to have nothing to do with me?

George

Doctrines always change to time, hopefully gaining towards the truth and not away from it. As the awareness of a people changes, so do their doctines.

Specific and orthodox doctrines don't interest me too much. But I do see how the doctrines from around the world share in common themes.

The following are the first three paragraphs from the AAB book "The Reappearance of the Christ" and speaks of a shared doctrine of expectancy between the East and the West. It's a good read.

Chapter One said:
THE DOCTRINE OF THE COMING ONE - Western Teaching

THE DOCTRINE OF AVATARS - Eastern Teaching

Right down the ages, in many world cycles and in many countries (and today in all) great points of tension have occurred which have been characterised by a hopeful sense of expectancy. Some one is expected and His coming is anticipated. Always in the past, it has been the religious teachers of the period who have fostered and proclaimed this expectancy and the time has always been one of chaos and difficulty, of a climaxing point at the close of a civilisation or culture and when the resources of the old religions have seemed inadequate to meet men's difficulties or to solve their problems. The coming of the Avatar, the advent of a Coming One and, in terms of today, the reappearance of the Christ are the keynotes of the prevalent expectancy. When the times are ripe, the invocation of the masses is strident enough and the faith of those who know is keen enough, then always He has come and today will be no exception to this ancient rule or to this universal law. For decades, the reappearance of the Christ, the Avatar, has been anticipated by the faithful in both hemispheres—not only by the Christian faithful, but by those who look for Maitreya and for the Boddhisattva as well as those who expect the Imam Mahdi.

When men feel that they have exhausted all their own resources and have come to an end of all their own innate possibilities and that the problems and conditions confronting them are beyond their solving or handling, they are apt to look for a divine Intermediary and for the Mediator Who will plead their cause with God and bring about a rescue. They look for a Saviour. This doctrine of Mediators, of Messiahs, of Christs and of Avatars can be found running like a golden thread through all the world faiths and Scriptures and, relating these world Scriptures to some central source of emanation, they are found in rich abundance everywhere. Even the human soul is regarded as an intermediary between man and God; Christ is believed by countless millions to act as the divine mediator between humanity and divinity.

The whole system of spiritual revelation is based (and has always been based) on this doctrine of interdependence, of a planned and arranged conscious linking and of the transmission of energy from one aspect of divine manifestation to another—from God in the "secret Place of the Most High" to the humblest human being, living and struggling and sorrowing on earth. Everywhere this transmission is to be found; "I am come that they may have life" says the Christ, and the Scriptures of the world are full of the intervention of some Being, originating from some source higher than the strictly human. Always the appropriate mechanism is found through which divinity can reach and communicate with humanity, and it is with this communication and these Instruments of divine energy that the doctrine of Avatars or of divine "Coming Ones" has to do.

"False doctrine" is such a subjective term.

Trump would argue ... or use the old word dialects just to cover up for what he really meant!

Some people are unlikely to encounter truth due to severe immersion in LARP-ing! Dangerous role playing that psychologists say can be detrimental to certain characters!

Dilution Theory ... has a significant effect on such functions ...

Is Luce a shortened word for Luciferase religion that will not learn anything beyond what they believe to be true ... given the situation they may fear anything different? Foreign intelligence is dangerous ... could've come from thinkers ...

Unsafe, I don't think much of how George writes, but reading about his efforts in the communities he has served, not walking away and trying harder seem to define his life. You could hardly have picked a worse person to say that about.

I've always been fascinated with word, communication and other forms of iconography ... although in isolation some take an accrued view of a broad-basedspectrum of god-essence as a splash of Semite-like words ... The Optics of Dark Jew ELLes as lens to what is coming next? Cloes to a Black Pearl in Hades?

Hades is sometimes taken as something subtle in nature ... beyond visible spectre? Leaves the institutionalized in the dark ... alas fixated as Fitz!

Blush.... Gratitude. I delight in folk who disagree with me in an agreeable manner. Cheers!

Well, dairy farming isn't your strong suit.

The only difference between the pics is where the cow is standing and it has nothing to do with freedom or grace. Both are dairy breeds. Well the bottom one is, I am pretty confident the cows in the upper pic are statues and not living animals.

So fake cows behind bars are not the best analogy for bondage or the law. Setting aside the dispensationalist interpretation which derides and diminishes the law which is still a gift given by God (if given freely it is a gift of God's grace).

The bottom cow has a pronounced udder, a characteristic of domesticated dairy breeds who spend most of their life in captivity. Which is probably not the best analogy for grace or freedom. Understanding, of course, that grace and freedom are not equivalent ideas.

sure

to understand what James is saying you need to go back and read from James 4;1, James is warning about Living the worldly ways and then James concludes with James 4:4. So James is saying with a stronger conviction of the seriousness of sin than most of us are willing to hold and live with.

if your interpretation of James 4:4 was correct, which it is not , it would have not conflicted with this verse

Matt 4:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

or

Ephesians 6;12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The bible has a clear theme that we are to love one an other as human beings, but warns us against not living there sinful ways.
I believe Blackbelt you should have read down James a bit more.

Jas 4:11

Do not speak evil against one another, brethren. He that speaks evil against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.
Jas 4:12

There is one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you that you judge your neighbor?

Airclean--post--
The world it seems is those that yet don't believe. Your neighbor is your Brothers and Sisters in Christ. In Israel held that belief as well . For all around them were there Enemy's. We have now become a part of the chosen Nation Israel . We are GODS people now , not belonging to the world. John 1: 13. We who have become born again, are children of GOD. You are right to say we are not to do earthy things . For we now are to Liston to GODLY things, and do them. This to me dose not say we are not to try an help those in the world to find the way, which is Christ. But I have found it better to Listen to The Holy Spirit. Who knows When, Where an, Why.
