And actually - "the issues only confuse people - bring on the bands and slogans and pretty girls"... Is pretty much what Trump was doing. Ok. Now I'm sounding like the you tube commentary. Enough of this. :)

yeah, you're baiting me with the Hillary health stuff. I'm biting anyway...

I'm just nervous that she's going to be predictable and "boring" to those expecting sensationalism, having become accustomed to Trump. Dear God, help us.
 
You know...Hillary is not really much to the "left" of Harper. The U.S. as a rule is more politically conservative (and yet has some very liberal laws, and some less so). She seems more liberal in an American context, though. Yet, she is mature. The world needs grown ups in charge not poorly behaved, spoiled children. Trump is petulant. And Trump seems very far right on certain social issues (unless you're rich like him - then anything goes), corrupt and totally fiscally irresponsible.

As Bono said "don't ruin what's perhaps one of the greatest things that's ever happened in the history of the world (America) by electing potentially the worst thing that could ever happen to it. Don't turn your country into a casino." (paraphrased)

Kimmio - you are naive. The U.S. is NOT a free country. It is a police state. It spies on its own people. The president has, and uses, the power to imprison people without charge or trial.
The U.S. is stunningly corrupt. It leads the world in the siphoning of money into the pockets of the rich. And Hillary has played a major role in that.
And the U.S. has been destroying the UN since it was founded. That began with its power of veto. It has given itself the right to ignore international law and the UN by invading any country it pleases, and for no legal reason at all. In doing so, it has murdered millions, displaced millions, tortured at least thousands.
Kimmioi - you delude yourself. You say you have forbeiveness (a Christian value). In fact, you forgive only those you want to forgive. (In fact, you don't even mention Hillary's role in mass murder around the world.
Nor am I ignoring the morality of other faiths which, commonly, is not very different from Christian morality. What I don't see (from Christians) is much morality of any sort. The followers of Hitler and Mussolini were Christians. The U.S. is forever claiming its Christianity. In fact, it is the head of the biggest empire in history - and it routinely murders, tortures, and abuses its colonials all over the world.
Trump is a distasteful ass. But his rise has nothing to do with a misuse of freedom.
Nations all over the world are becoming dysfunctional - Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Guatemala, Syria, Yemen...There has been mass murder, largely of civilians - almost all of it carried out by the U.S. - by people like Bush who go to church every Sunday.
But it's not their fault, is it? No. It's because countries like Guatemala and Haiti and Vietnam and Yemen are always picking on the poor, little U.S.
I don't care which religion provides the moral values of a country. I only know that Christianity does not seem to provide the religious values of any country. And because there really are no religious values of any sort in American government, it has become the world's leading killer of innocent people. And that's why it produces presidential candidates like Clinton and Trump.

The world is in very great danger because of the greed and immorality that dominate American thinking. And Hillary fits right into the greed and corruption of murder.

That's heavy satire ... heresy enough to call a return from where they came from ... heaven? King Henry VIII believed so and thus some traitors were disassembled and de-parted ... disassociated from the bode an parts?

More than one sense Mendalla. Right in that the Republican party is on the political right; right in that Cruz is putting former selfish ways behind him to do what is best for his party and his nation.
