Well if he doesnt lose EVERY black voter over that one, then I would think it would be hard to take the BLM seriously.

I just thought about this. It has nothing to do with taking BLM seriously. We should take BLM seriously regardless. They are a social change movement, not the governors of what every black person does. They can't achieve equality for black people overnight and not when dismissed by white people because of the abominable Trump. Why should any white voters with a conscience vote for him? Why be dismissive of BLM?

Black people need to vote - they need to be able to - and hopefully there's no problem for them to vote. That's the bigger concern. It's been a concern in the past and it's still a concern.

I'd like to say that if Biden loses it'll be really hard to take the DNC seriously. They ran the wrong candidate. But I hope he wins.

I watched that ... gave me some background credence to what Trump was suggesting during the debate. But the people do not want to know what the people do not want to know ... so back to the 'socially engineered' talking points they will go.

A president that is supportive of a white supremacist group will/has not bode well for them and will just make it harder on themselves......but it's their choice not mine.
If I was an American and could vote I'd choose Biden just because he said he would reunite families at the border........that is another atrocity and it makes me sick that the Republicans let it happen.

This stuff about Proud Boys, etc. nobody was paying attention to. It's been a problem for a few years. Project Veritas - the guy who does that, is a grifter. All of this has been discussed online on the Majority Report for years. They're an underrated show. I could've predicted this crap just by listening to that show. Sam Seder is dedicated to getting to the facts. He discusses things the MSM won't do much. That's why people are now going "who are the Proud Boys?". Because they don't pay attention to people like Sam and they aren't being warned strongly enough by the MSM. People should pay attention to what is happening online. Even if the format and style is not your cup of tea or seems too "young". If you want to learn more, watch it. The people who spend their time watching YouTube and other online media sources rather than TV news are going to decide this election most likely. The outgoing mainstream underestimates it. Which is what happened last time. The incoming mainstream gets all their info online. It might not even be reflected in the polls, but it's a force.

I believe it is necessary for progressive Democrats to work at gaining control of the DNC. The grassroots stuff is tedious but necessary if the Clinton circle is going to lose control of the Democratic Party.

I can sympathize with people like Ritafee for losing confidence in our existing political system. I am also hopeful that the Supreme Court may eventually force government's to improve the electoral process. Fair Vote Canada is pushing for a citizen's commission to design a new system but the Liberal government's own electoral reform committee proposed an excellent reform 3 years ago that Trudeau rejected, showing his true colours which are more blue than any other colour.
