Amidst the Iran controversy, trump asks the New York judge to dismiss the rape allegation against him.....partly because he says he was never a New York resident and therefore cannot be charged in New York, despite paying taxes there.

I presume then he's taken his name off the tower and other places? :sneaky::mad:

He certainly is a piece of work.

Honestly? Crap like this should have no place in politics from either side. It just ramps up political cynicism. If Trump wins this year, part of the reason will likely be people not showing up because they have given up.

Cynicism in politix ... how odd!

May appear as critical meltdown ... corn bread or pure irony given the lack of fecund clues?

Well, the EVangelicals are still are for him. They're convinced he is God, come down to give his (or her) blessing to helping the U.S. rule the world.

One should really attend one of their services. They are a real collection of looney tunes. (But it's the American ones that are really wild.)

To evangelicals, the whole point of faith is to get into heaven while everyone else goes down to hell. Nothing else counts. And the U.S. is God's plan for the future. It's all really our equivalent of God's will (until 1945) to rule, murder and plunder all over the world - in God's name.

Do you remember standing up in school every morning and saluting the Union Jack and saying, "I pledge allegiance to this flag, and to the empire for which it stands." And that justified the murdering of over 400,000,000 people all over the world.

Alas! I also remember the pulpit in our little church wrapped in a Union Jack. God was British then. There was no doubt about it.

The religious crusades go on ...

I remember working with an SNC Lavalin Engineer in NFLD when the Iranian Revolution occured. He had previously worked in the southern limits of the old Soviet Union (Hungarian Descent?) and said too few people understood the demographics of the old Persian States ... and predicted it was a firepot for the future. Perhaps it is the deep oils that feed the fires? Greased hands or Yans ... Yedi?

Always pay attention to the hidden fires in the myths ... primarily ... have respect for all things! Is this a mist detail? Bring on the clouds ...

I feel sad for the little people that allow the determinate to do as they will ... but then I am a stupid exorcised person looking in for the fringe --- some determinate, professional THEO logistics ...

THEO was an old word for dangerous gods ... they messed around with things with inadequate statistics, data and intelligence ...

The word is critical ... but in an inordinate mannar ...

Then in de course of things some people believe I and other (alternate) thinkers are dangerous ... it is THEO ... logically abstract!

INDE racine ...

Mrs. M used to hang out with an Iranian couple when she lived in Halifax. The husband also taught at Dal. He had been a bigwig in the Shah's regime and bailed after the revolution. Blamed the Americans for the Shah's downfall. Had some great Persian food at their place when we visited.

An aside ... off the beaten path-heh:

Is stupidity an essence in absence?
A type of abstract like a passion set free in a flare ... such is epi Famy!

It was the U.S. and Britain that destroyed democracy in Iran, and put the Shah in power. The U.S. also used that occasion to squeeze out British oil billionaires.

Yeah, I know. I think this guy expected the US to bail the regime out rather than letting the revolution take its course, though.

This AM I read that some democratic communication has told Trump that he is not a dictator and cannot act without a Congress!

Is the Democratic Congress sure of what Trump believes he is?

Then given the indeterminacy of all worldly communion ... would they be able to know without considerable digging into the enigma?

The cannan say you are not allowed to go there ... and canaan is law! Hear the blast ... with enough there is the sound of silence and the alien humans are departed ...

Some astronauts stated there could be aliens on earth --- their perspective from out there!

You could develop a myth out of this large chit ... but it too would be incomplete, abstract or otherwise incarnate as flighty 1/3's! Have patience for the coming 4th! Then the dense part ... tis hard ...

Tis all in the reception of enigmatic myths as cloudy ... some curiosity expected ... unless you believe in tyrannical control ... avarice! It too may fail!

War ... easy to fall into?

Logical Fall Asae!

Recall war too ... is just a word and all is fair in love'n war ... prepare for the bust ... as Steven Hawking stated: "the end of humanity will be due to greed and stupidity" another way to say intellect was buried!

Thus hidden wisdom ... heiro gamma? Maybe bete'n oire!

Imagine the folk that don't understand the dark beast on the horizon as a black cloud!

Trump is nothing more than the manifestation of a democracy grown lazy and fat. Citizens converted to consumers by the propaganda of the corporate media. Seeking amusement in malls, theatres, and sport arenas. Our priority ought to be the awakening of critical consciousness in the general population. Followed by the conviction and courage required to stand forward in the public square as witnesses to a new imagination. An imagination divorced from political manipulations endorsed by corporate powers and blessed by distorted religious convictions. An imagination of personal responsibility and accountability.

From an essay I wrote more than twenty years ago:

"We people have too long allowed others to decide our paths for us. They have held attractive carrots before our noses and we have pulled their heavy carts down the road to doomsday. It is coming close to the time where we must turn away from their sugar-coated lies to embrace the way of truth. Because we have delayed so long it is going to be a very costly undertaking. With all earnestness possible, I declare that the alternative is a literal hell.
Today the question is put to the human family: Which will you prefer? The hard truth which demands a radical transformation of personal and corporate values to guarantee the security of our shared human being, or the dominant political rhetoric which promises a new world order but delivers only pollution, warfare and oppression of the human spirit?"
