Certainly, people who succeed continue on after failure. They learn from those failures and move forward. They fail because they are willing to take risks. Not all of us are suited to that kind of risk taking. That does not mean that people who are not daring risk takers are victims. Nor are all failures the epic kind that people like Trump display.
