It’s quite the racket...corporate “voluntarism”. Voluntarily work for no pay (apprenticeships), or too little to live on, voluntary low security prison type living conditions....all the way to voluntary euthanasia. Actually, it looks not unlike those (capitalist corporate) companies in China with dorms for employees and safety nets below windows to catch “jumpers”...except they sell positivity...almost typed “poditivity” (so I just did)...and people convince themselves they love it (faces in the group photo suggest otherwise). Well, maybe 20 something’s do love it...for a week. But it is not a long term solution to anything.

But this particular system was designed by a woman who "never wanted to be lonely". Does this look different to extroverts than introverts?

This introvert shudders at the very thought. I have trouble sharing living space with two people at times.

Absolutely, and would be impossible for me, also. However, I know people who are just happier 'around' people, who, particularly as teens and young people, would be absolutely cool with this.
I’d be happier in a cube with a door...shared common space sometimes needed and appreciated. Not all the fricken time.

It’s a corporate hostel...that is not calling it one. Here, there is a really cool hostel with private and semi private rooms, and communal areas...way cooler than that prison barn. I ate dinner there once. Saw the menu on the window...thought it was a cafe...but it was more of a communal dining area/ games room, with beer taps. The staff said sure I could eat there even if I wasn’t a guest ($6 curry chicken and rice), though not many do...they did have a sign on the window, so...
Anyway...way cooler than this pod thing. There are a few original hostels here. Part of the international association, I think. Actually, a coworker and their partner lived in a hostel for awhile, in a private room, while looking/ saving for a place...eventually they found one, but this was liveable enough that they were not miserable.

Do introverts have hostilities with extroverts ... those being beyond what was originally conceived to be contained and restricted ... and then they grow up with a sense of avarice ... control freaks?
