What does this Scripture really mean -----Spiritually ---Folks
This is one Scripture that no unsaved person can say it's True or say it can be interpreted different ----
All Life is In The Blood ------now that Is ------The Truth -----
This is the whole Scripture ------
“‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.’ ” — Leviticus 17:11
I say ------How can Blood make an atonement for our soul -----
Our Soul represents our Mind --Will and Emotions ----So how would Blood atone for how we think and feel ----

When we Sin we feel guilt creep in our mind ---anyone who doesn't feel some guilt when they do bad --- would be a socialpathic person ---in my view -----
The Shedding of Christ's Blood ----brings peace to the Soul for those who receive HIM ---

• “The life…is in the blood”
– Blood represents life itself; to shed blood is to forfeit life (Genesis 9:4-6).
• “I have given it to you”
– God, not human ingenuity, established blood as His appointed means of covering sin.
• “To make atonement for your souls”
– The Hebrew word for atonement (kaphar) means “to cover” or “to wipe away.” Blood covers guilt so the sinner can stand before God.
• “It is the blood that makes atonement”
– No substitute exists. Good works or intentions cannot remove sin’s penalty; only a life poured out in place of another satisfies divine justice (cf. Hebrews 9:22).
Grasp the serious cost of sin—life must be given.
I say -----Life is all about an exchange -------
There is a physical exchange that takes place in this world -------you exchange Money or a money card ------visa --mastercard etc for Food --and all necessities of life in this world ------
And in the Spiritual world Blood is your exchange for eternal life ------
Jeremiah 19----tells that children were Sacrificed to their pagan gods -----and God strongly apposed this practice -----
19 This is what the Lord says: “Go and buy a clay jar from a potter. Take along some of the elders of the people and of the priests
2 and go out to the Valley of Ben Hinnom, near the entrance of the Potsherd Gate. There proclaim the words I tell you,
3 and say, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah and people of Jerusalem. This is what the Lord Almighty,
the God of Israel, says: Listen! I am going to bring a disaster on this place that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle.
4 For they have forsaken me and made this a place of foreign gods;
they have burned incense in it to gods that neither they nor their ancestors nor the kings of Judah ever knew,
and they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent.
5 They have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire as offerings to Baal—something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind.
6 So beware, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when people will no longer call this place Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.
