Forget God. Sometimes I think there is no way you can possibly exist. And yet, you post.

But you're so deep and invested in the cult that there is no exit for you. Your purpose continues to be to serve as a warning for others and show that that the beliefs I make fun of do exist in Canada. Also, you feed me the worst bits of the bible, which saves me a lot of time. I don't even have to ask.

that there is no exit for you
Why would I ever want to exit a life that is so blessed and so rewarding and so full of Peace --Health ---Joy ---contentment ----and extremely happiness ---my sins are forgiven ---I am free from Being in People Bondage don't care what people say about me and i don't need validation from people -----Satan doesn't bother tempting me anymore ----- God has supplied me with all I need ---I haven't been to a Doctor since 2008 ----I am never sick ----because I have no stress in my life --I am protected against my enemies --and I will have eternal life why on earth would I ever want to leave this wonderful experience I'm living -----I would have to be a Fool -----

The life unbelievers which includes you are living under is the Curse of this world ----which is still in place until Jesus comes back ---full of negativity ---stress --anxiety -uncontentment --sickness and disease ----on and off feeling happy at times ----failed relationships ---financially strung out --fear of lack ---worldly joy once in a while -----living under the consequences of the bondage of sin --feeling quilt and shame -- which brings you to the second death --

I Agape my Blessed life Thanks -------it may not be what others want and they are entitled to live the cursed life if they so choose --I don't choose that life and that is what I'm entitled to do reject it -----and I did ----- thanks God for that

The life unbelievers which includes you are living under is the Curse of this world ----which is still in place until Jesus comes back ---full of negativity ---stress --anxiety -uncontentment --sickness and disease ----on and off feeling happy at times ----failed relationships ---financially strung out --fear of lack ---worldly joy once in a while -----living under the consequences of the bondage of sin --feeling quilt and shame -- which brings you to the second death --
I'm looking at TWO deaths now? Oh man, I wasn't even looking forward to the first one.

Tell me they don't come in threes.

I'm looking at TWO deaths now?
YUP-----all according to scripture -----now you don't have to believe it of course -----but you can't change what the Scripture says ---

Revelation 20:14 AMP

14 ;Then death and Hades [the realm of the dead] were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God].

So we dodged a third death?

Whew.

Paradox, I apologize for the distraction. I do think it's important to point out the insanity of unsafe's beliefs, from time to time.

No worries. I have been neglecting this thread for a few days because I have been sick.

Hope to be back soon to complete the study of Acts.

Acts 27
Paul and company set sail for Rome, providing us with another geography lesson.

It is a perilous voyage!!!

Paul is visited by an angel in the night who encourages him to carry on.

Eventually they are shipwrecked on Malta.

Acts 28: 1-10

The inhabitants of Malta are most kind to the shipwrecked crew. They welcome them to a fire because it is cold and it has started to rain..

Paul gathers a bundle of brushwood for the fire. Just as he is about to lay the bundle on the fire, a viper comes out and attaches itself to Paul's hand.

The people assume Paul must be a murderer.

However, Paul shakes off the creature and it lands in the fire. When he experiences no further harm, the people decide he must be a God.

Paul heals the father of Publius, who is the chief ruler of the island. Other start coming to Paul for healing. Honors are bestowed on Paul and he is given provisions when he gets ready to sail

Acts 27

Paul was put aboard a ship for Italy along with other prisoners and taken to the Augustan Regiment named Julius.

Julius treated Paul well and allowed to to visit and care for his friends ---

I say ---Paul hadn't been convicted of anything yet so Julius maybe was allowing him to have this freedom because he wan't a condemned man ----

For days the winds were making the ship sail slowly and they had to hug the shoes as the winds were against them ----so Paul gives a warning of Looming Danger ahead ----but Julius rejects the warning ---and the shi carries on

And What happens ----there is a Ship wreck -----They Should have listened to Paul---who was prophesying ----

These verses describe that the winds were fierce and what the crew was feeling ---

18 On the next day, as we were being violently tossed about by the storm [and taking on water], they began to jettison the cargo;

19 and on the third day they threw the ship’s tackle (spare lines, blocks, miscellaneous equipment) overboard with their own hands [to further reduce the weight].

20 Since neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small storm kept raging about us, from then on all hope of our being saved was [growing worse and worse and] gradually abandoned.

I say ------
Here we have a hopeless feeling of doom that has come upon these men ----all because they did not listen to Paul's warning -----

This happens in our lives ----we get a nudge not to go somewhere or do something we were planning on and we don't listen and disaster strikes ----our decisions can help us or hinder us ---

I say ------so Paul gives the a lecture and encouragement

Paul stood up before them and said, “Men, you should have followed my advice and should not have set sail from Crete, and brought on this damage and loss.

22 But even now I urge you to keep up your courage and be in good spirits, because there will be no loss of life among you, but only loss of the ship.

So Paul tells them an angel the God he serves came to him

an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me,

24 and said, ‘Stop being afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has given you [the lives of] all those who are sailing with you.’

25 So keep up your courage, men, for I believe God and have complete confidence in Him that it will turn out exactly as I have been told;

26 but we must run [the ship] aground on some island.”

-----About the 14th night some of the men thought they might be close to land -----so they took their surrounding [using a weighted line] and found [the depth to be] twenty fathoms (120 feet); and a little farther on they sounded again and found [the depth to be] fifteen fathoms (90 feet).

Fear came upon them that they might run aground on the rocks they dropped 4 anchors ----some of the men were planning an escape from the ship and lowered the skiff into the water pretending to lay out the anchors from the bow of the ship ---

Verse 31-------Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, “Unless these men remain on the ship, you cannot be saved.”

The men cut the ties from the skiff and let it fall and drift away ------

Paul again encourages the remaining crew to eat and Paul gives thanks to God in front of everyone ---------their spirits are lifted and they begin throwing things of the ship to lighten it up -----

When daylight came they saw a bay with a beach and decided to go there ---they pulled up the anchors and headed for the beach ----but ended up running aground on a reef --the waves were coming on the boat from the other side ---the stern of the ship was breaking up under the force of the waves ---the solders were planing to kill the prisoners so they wouldn't escape and swim to safety ----but Julius wanted to save Paul so he kept the soldiers from ---executing their plan ---so the governor told the men who could swim to jump overboard and swim to shore ---the others he told to hang on to things that were thrown from the ship into the water like planks etc ---and so all of them were brought safely to the beach -----

I say -----So Paul is showing us True Faith here and how if we trust in God we can weather any storm ---and come to victory -----Fear --doubt and bad decision making will hinder the right outcome -----

So the Island they were on was called the island was called Malta.

And the natives showed us extraordinary kindness and hospitality-They made a fire and welcomed all the men ----

Paul had gathered some sticks and laid them on the fire ---a viper came out and attached itself to Paul's hand ---the natives state that Paul must be a murder and that even though he was saved from the sea he is about to die from this viper bite ----

So the natives waited but nothing happened to Paul from the bite and so they though that Paul must be a god ---

Now in some places today People will voluntarily let a snake bite them to show their faith ---

AI Overview

Snake handling is a religious practice in some Holiness and Pentecostal churches, primarily in Appalachia, that involves handling venomous snakes during worship services. Adherents believe this practice is a literal interpretation of Bible passages, such as Mark 16:18, and that God will protect them from harm, citing their faith as a form of protection against snake bites. These churches may also practice other signs of faith like speaking in tongues and drinking poison, and some members refuse medical treatment for bites, believing God will heal them.

So here Paul heals the father of the leader of the natives ----verses 7-8

the leading man of the island, named Publius, who welcomed and entertained us hospitably for three days.

8 And it happened that the father of Publius was sick [in bed] with recurring attacks of fever and dysentery; and Paul went to him, and after he had prayed, he laid his hands on him and healed him.

So after Paul heals the father ---many more come and Paul heals them ----and the natives in return supply them will all they need

So Paul and the others board a ship and sail to different places and along the way meet some believers and they stay with them for a few days ---

Finally Paul gets to Rome --verse 16
16 When we entered Rome, Paul was allowed to stay by himself [in rented quarters] with the soldier who was guarding him.

17 Three days later he called together the leaders of the Jews; and when they had gathered

and he again defends himself --saying he has done nothing wrong ----and explains his situation -----the Jews say they have no letter or have heard of anything bad about you

They say to Paul
22 But we would like to hear from you what your views are [that is, exactly what you believe]; for in regard to this sect (Christianity), we are fully aware that it is denounced everywhere.”

So the Jews come to his lodging in large numbers to head what Paul has to say about Christianity

They were disagreeing among themselves and were leaving Paul when he brought up the Holy Spirit speaking through Isaiah to your Fathers ----

after quoting what Isaiah said --Paul said

28 Therefore let it be known to you that [this message of] the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they indeed will listen!”

29 {And when he had said these things, the Jews left, arguing among themselves.]

The last 2 verses speak for themselves

30 And Paul lived there for two full years [at his own expense] in his own rented lodging and welcomed all who came to him,

31 preaching and proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness and boldness, unhindered and unrestrained.

I say ---so we see Paul wasn't in a regular Prison ---he had his own rented place and was able to welcome visitors ----
