What is the sweetest - kindest - most loving [romantic or otherwise] thing that someone has ever done for you?

I don't really know which one tops the others. Just in general, Chemguy helps take care of my physical needs. That's way more significant than the sweet gestures, many people don't have that kind of support from their spouse.

It was probably the lowest point in my life. Heartache and break on every front. I couldn't even look a friend in the eye without breaking down.

That friend held me in her arms and gave me the time I needed to get my feet back underneath me and compose myself.

I have never forgotten that love present in that moment.

A close second was during a family communion service. The liturgy invited families to come to the table together and at that point in time the notion of family was very tenuous in my life. Two friends and I agreed that we were family enough and we would share the sacrament together. Just before that a couple in the congregation turned to us, said that their children were not present and it would be their honour if we would be their sons for the celebration of the sacrament.

I have never experienced the sacrament since without remembering the beauty of that moment and letting some liquid joy trickle down my cheek. I have never forgotten the beauty of that one.
