How are you defining evangelicals here?

In Brazil, until 20 years ago, Evangelical meant mainline Protestant, as a German immigration word inheritance. Born-again, Pentecostal and Neo Pentecostal churches started to define themselves as Evangelicals and as they are many more, we lost the label.
I see the same matter here, as in the ELCIC name or even the Liberal Evangelical historical theology of the UCCan.
Crazy how words change.

Not sure where this is coming from, either. "Catholic, Anglican and Lutheran (and in fact, early Reformed)" are almost equally liturgical.

I imagine because we see - rightly or not - Lutheran and Anglican as being too Catholicky.

I've noticed there's a wide variety of Anglican churches. Some feel modern and evangelical, others feel traditional and Catholic to me.

Yes, as evidenced in the two Anglican theological colleges attached to UofT. I could imagine myself studying at Wyecliffe. At Trinity, no.

I prefer the ones in the Low church tradition.

I find high Anglican services beautiful, but they feel more like a concert than a worship service. Not for me.

Completely invisible to a great hoard ... as expressed in Dali's Santiago El Grande ... a larger sol state than available to mortal process ... part of the post modern ... yet to come?
