Why doesn’t it care about how people feel? Why is it entitled to dictate the future of another constantly, and with pain? It doesn’t seem to respect differences in capacity

It wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t have its own agenda and wasn’t manipulating others for it.

But, is it not doing damage to others as it pleases for its own pleasure? Addicted to that?

Why is it entitled to do what it does?

It has made some errors in judgment itself that have harmed unnecessarily. The pain is fresh. It doesn’t care. There’s no indication that it wants to fix what it broke.

That’s not its decision or its right to dictate. It is merely a Canadian human, not god. Humble? Sorry, I don’t see that, with all the intrusions and manipulations and proclamations. It’s an obsessive human being with control issues, itself in a privileged position that it denies. Not suffering for the basics, is it? Has a home? A family who loves it? Had struggles but did okay in life. Who is it to judge when it’s in a different circumstance? It see it with a fat head watching others struggle in pain at its behest, confusing them deliberately, and serving its personal addiction/ obsession like a literary curiosity. Is it wrong to notice that? It won’t like that characterization. Wouldn’t a friend tell a friend when they have bad breath?

We’re not here to serve its personal desires for control of the “mystery” to entertain it.

It has the wrong idea of what help is needed. Some want this world to heal and go on. Give that a good chance. Let people try. Within the next 20 years it won’t be here to worry about it but its grandkids likely will. They deserve to have the will to go on. So does anybody else who wants to keep trying.

This earthly realm has beauty and potential.

(That reminds me. Maybe a string of garlic around my neck, or garlic breath, will help. …probably not.)

It doesn’t necessarily deserve the mental effort we give it - for all the pain and confusion it causes.

You are not its personal book character. You are valuable and don’t give up hope.

sometimes elder seniors exhibit more difficult behaviour as they get more elderly - not even just dementia. They get grumpy. Do senior sage humans lose their way? When they approach the end of their lives do they stop caring about who’s still here and values their lives? Do they care about their offspring anymore? When they know they’re not going to be in the world for a lot longer, do they just give up on the world? Is their loss of faculties and energy and familiarity an excuse to let the spite rip like a bad fart, so as to misuse its gifts to cause harm unnecessarily? Unacknowledged rogue emotion of their own behind it? Their own unexamined biases being enforced? Still figuring that out.
(Speaking of stinking things.)

I feel like it has a miserable vision because it hates the world rather than seeing good potential. It doesn’t understand that. If it does it’s not communicating it well. I get a glimpse of good, then it’s gone and replaced with nihilism.

You’re not its puppet. It needs to respect you, too. It’s not god. It doesn’t own you. Live your life. Don’t lose your best qualities to the thing.

I can look for the good in somebody regardless of their mistakes, whatever they are. I recognize that they are a whole person. I’m reconciling with others’ duplicitous behaviour though. It’s the hardest.

And when it’s deliberately confusing it lends itself to duplicity and misleading people.

It lied to me under a guise, and made my life more difficult. How’s that so different from the tricky politicians it complains about? Does it have some “character” work to do on itself? Sincere questions.

Thought:

Charles Dickens must’ve gone through it.
And whoever wrote “The Good Place”.

However, these ones are seriously missing some insight.

Maybe a book nerd who can’t imagine what it feels like? Or even worse, can?

They got it wrong. And I’m not over my feelings about it yet. Still working on it.

The object isn’t uneducated, only unecessarily diminished and mentally blocked by pain and hurdles imposed. Previous to the object’s introduction to The Chaotic Ordeal she was already far more aware than most about injustices and inequalities, and had compassion for those affected. For anyone’s personal pain, really. She’d learned plenty by that point, that others didn’t realize or care about. That’s not pretentious it’s true. She cared. They read the object wrong and did more injustice to the person. Even worse, if others knew that about her and did that to her anyway.
