Radiation impacts

This past week, I noticed a drop of blood and pondered where it came from. Over the next 24 hrs, it became clear, urinary tract.

One of the long term consequences of my form/stage of cancer is the affect of radiation on bladder, etc.

Being on blood thinners compounds problems that sometimes occur. Thankfully my cardiologist is hoping to be able to discontinue at some point

As a woman, I know how much blood can be lost without consequences and from previous scope with urologist i know that the gaps in the lining of the bladder which cause veins to be exposed are part of cause. So...no panic.

It does trigger some anxiety though as blood is often a sign of something going awry, potentially a recurrence..

On the plus side, the symptom of blood in the urine gets you into an office quickly.

Sigh, another UTI.

I do get frustrated by the number of medical appointments that i have. This event will now trigger a series of urologist and GP followups and probably a scan and scope.

But, the good news is all seems well, and minor annoyances

I'm glad you're getting checked out Jayne. I'm also glad it's just a UTI. I hope it clears well for you.

My radiation was above the waist, so any effects would be different. As far as I know, I have some damaged tissue on my lung. It's a very small spot that is not a reason for concern. Some people can have more damage. Damage to the heart is also possible . Thankfully, that didn't happen to me.

There are so many things that result from things done ... and we know little of it as it was believed to not have been done before ... but we just forgot ... for intellect is frowned upon in circles!

This amuses the "beyond" folk ... them out there looking in ... a great black abstract! Lower Dais ... and it came down ... folly?

Reconsider what happens in the void of light ... it becomes a Black Hole Syndrome ... said to be naught!

The trouble with nothing ...

What if "nothing" is not as it appeared; would we apply a metaphor ... and it became incarnate!

Unreal ... incomprehensible like many folk I've encountered that despise logic, reason and other orders of magnitude that are beyond us! Some much of it ... mores ...
