not for a while, well the weekend camping with some church folk (sort of a slow start to vacation mindset) and then in a while we'll go to my parents for a couple weeks. LAST day of vacation we will see the RCMP Musical Ride here in GP

We all go various places in life. Some of our own choosing - others because they don't want no problems with the Pharisees. If you're interested in this - consult your family members and their congregations. I'm last.
 
Just woke up from a nasty dream. Hopefully the wild pounding of my heart won't LAST and I can get some more sleep.
 
I had a weird dream too. I dreamed I was packing. When I woke up, I was.
 
Good morning all!

It is a beautiful morning here! Birds singing, sun shining (although a little hazy, perhaps some forest fire smoke has drifted in from aways), calm, serene . . . had morning tea, about to have breaky . . . and of course, slip into . . .

LAST!
 
You go back to sleep, BethAnne . . . and I will hold LAST.

Whenever I have a bad dream or a nightmare I do an imaginery thing where I make the dream turn out the way I want to in my mind. If someone is chasing me, or whatever, and I wake up startled, I imagine in my mind that I get to safety, or they fall, or whatever, and I am safe. Then I am able to get back to sleep.

That is the best thing to do and it does work. Though, it is a good thing I'm not driving today...still feel a bit shaky.
 
Be careful BethAnne . . . I know your shakey is different from my daughter's shakey, but I always worry about her when she has a "more shakey" day than she usually does. So put safety first.

Grande Prairie would normally be an evacuate TO place. Northwind lives closer to a place where folks are being evacuated FROM, although her community is not being evacuated, they are recieving.

My sister doesn't chat and drives 120 kms so we were home 2 hrs sooner than I would have been if I'd been alone...she also did all the running and actual deliveries. Had a bit of an accident as she ended up backing up into a concrete block - car is pretty scraped up but otherwise fine...brother-in-law said he can fix what damage there is.
 
Another cool yet beautiful day here in Canada's world-class city of Toronto.
