Christians are not compelled to care for the environment as the result of any particular theory of environmental crisis.
 
Actually it is mainly a European/Westerner thing...prehistoric and indiginous populations were one with the land in a way that our ancestors weren't.

The Big Bang theory was formulated by a Jesuit priest (one of the most educated Catholic orders) named George Lemaitre who was also a physicist so it continues right up to modern cosmology. There is no reason Christianity needs to be in conflict with science unless it insists on a "hard" literal reading of Genesis.

I went for a foot detox session this afternoon - nothing showed up except a wisp of mucus which indicates yeast in the blood!
