It does sound like you talked beforehand. She told you she was thinking of getting a rescue dog and it seems that was ok with you and your husband. So the timing was a surprise but not the action. I'm glad.

It's all fine. Actually she arranged with us and the shelter agency's contact in Washington State a couple of hours away, to come here for a home visit a couple of weeks ago. They popped by for just a few minutes. They really want to make sure their dogs get a good safe home. It was a bit surprising the effort they went to...but a good thing.

BethAnne, scouts and guides never had a formal connection to any church. But the best available meeting place for them was commonly a church - or synagogue. And the kids who joined, then, tended to be members of that church or synagogue.

My first elementary school had only four rooms with four grades. So there were no boy-girl barriers. However, when I hit the big time of grades 5-8, it was a large school - so boys and girls ate in separate basement areas, and played in separate schoolyards. By high school we were even more separate. The boys' section was called Montreal High, and the girls' was Girls High School of Montreal. And to be caught in the wrong place was a very serious offence.

Canadian Girls in Training (Canadian Grandmothers in Trousers) were usually, but not always, connected to the United Church. It was an excellent group that trained the girls in critical thinking, current events - way ahead of most other youth groups (except for BNai Brith).

True...though in my personal experience, I was the only girl in my units from the United Church though we did meet in the church.

LAST as deadlines loom and the paper is not finished.

well graeme I don't buy that your school wasn't split into boys and girls because of size. The school I spoke of-with the separate entrances and split basement was a one classroom 8 grade school. I went there for grade one.

The last post is where the fence ends and all Wahls come down ... and some whitewashing occurs ... as the rye thing on the other side blanches ... feints? Chi'z unaccustomed to where things were to be pegged ... onyx'd ... in a dark and mysterious time ... and thus the invisible connection ... flighty communication? Such is the beguine where one knows and the other doesn't know what was displaced ... and they were at a loss!

Why? ... What we do without the mystery of subverse and foot notes that skimmers scip over as they didn't really wish to know ... and thus subversive tendencies ... arrest for those completely aware ... a fallout of the real reality? Some say infallible ... but it is an incarnation ... the blossoming of what? Twas a colorful idiom ...

Some say AUM, some say a'hem ... them believing themselves to be authority ... and you know what you can tell authorities?

Nothing! Why it is best to be a humble authority ... an underhanded jerk .. that in Gael ands is Jack and up chi comes ... that'd be the O'Sean ... from the derivation of adept! Ain't that natural beaut when rye ... not fabricated on de fly as ephemeral ... Piscine thoughts ... when Urinal them ...

So it goes round ...

What ... de Nous as something unfinished? This outlines the odd ness of the psyche ... as yet incomplete! It goes on and on unconscious to mortals ...

You've heard of alternate consciousness ... that which others have a grip on ...

Edi Taurus as an eddy where in space the ought's are stirred ... quite separate or eliminated from those loched into the physical realms ... no abstracts like dark ladies in the night ...

Hey Beth do you enjoy putting out the paper? Does it bring you joy -as well as dollars?
It is a blast! Brings in more joy than dollars. Also brings in a few headaches too to balance everything out. All is done and I just fired it off to the printer. I can relax at LAST!

The election was so all-consuming for some that they totally forgot that I had a deadline this week so most submissions arrived in the last hour and were time-consuming ones to deal with (not nice simple cut-and-paste ones). With the extra Friday in May, I'll have a chance to put the next issue together in a more leisurely manner.

I used to do a church newsletter and it always seemed that most important submissions (e.g President of Board, Minister) were the ones that either arrived at the last minute or that I had to actively pursue. And, inevitably, were either longer or shorter than the space I had allotted for them in the layout (I used MS Publisher, though, so changing the layout on the fly was reasonably easy)

Do aggressive sides of psyche like emotions and intellect give real people ... head aggression in the form of raging headaches ... raven sillies just to alloe sentience to basically somnolent people having nothing to stir "M"?

Does paen in the asis assist in the charge of light brigades ?

Most can't see it due to emotional encompassment ... a' Meri Kahn Asian, or those Dan sin about reverence and responsibility of those dark things causing ewe fears ... sheepish dissonance?

Such mortal things wile pas ... as fringe people looking in ...
