For various reasons, I decided not to hand out treats this year as life wasn't cooperating...but, a neighbour's grandkids brought their kids and I was the only person who has been home (and answered the door!) so I gave them some themed magnets.

Just had a very short ghost, with a big bag, knock on the door...turned out to be my niece kneeling on the step. :)

In 2002 or 03, one of the families at church had an exchange student from Quebec who had no idea what trick or treating was so Sis and I took the host girl and exchange girl around (I think they were 15 or 16 at the time) - the girls were both almost 6 ft tall and both would kneel in front of the door with sheets completely covering them while Sis and I stood behind like the parents did...people would see us and wonder whose kids we had and then when we left both girls would stand up and shock the homeowner as they were taller than most of them. One of the best Halloweens ever. :)

Didn't celebrate Halloween. Taught an EFL class/Bible study for tweens. In the evening enjoyed a BBQ dinner and singing at a noraebang with friends.
