A few days after Thanksgiving and Christmas, our family took whatever bits of leftover meat (usually quite a bit), put it all in gravy and heated it up, and served it over waffles. It was delicious. We always looked forward to that!

That is an interesting one. Never had anything like that on waffles

Not sure what we will do. Unless Little M and his wife come down for the long weekend, probably nothing special. And that's unlikely. They are both pretty busy these days.

Apparently I am cooking dinner for 14 in my tiny house. There will be help. There will be folding chairs. I must search for more plates down in "memory lane". Dips and dippers, ham and turkey with two stuffings and gravy, mashed potatoes (assigned), turnip puff, maple baby carrots, brussel sprouts (assigned), salad, dinner and crescent rolls (assigned), apple and pumpkin pies

I believe I will dip out of sight for this festive occasion as the general state of the public given the rise of private fortunes is depressing. There is more rumor that large forces trying to disassemble Canada are working ... that's power for yah ... destroys the foundations ... the little things.

Might even be illustrated by a small thin man supporting a glowing fat thing in metaphor! I bet you can't see it if supporting brutal laws ... they tend to support the corrupt!

How would you describe the atmosphere as we watch the world being torn to pieces for the powers trying to grab as much as they can?

It seems to be the way the little people escape IT ... just do not ponder anything ... absolutely nothing and mental process disappears ... in a haze ... a relative pall ... dippy?

Stardust descends ...

how would you feeL if you went to A thankSgiving dinner and you were served cauliflower in place of Turkey

That would be flowery ... imagine the creative implications ... blossoming psyches as something said to be non-existent in sol'ar (our limited) theory!

There is this wild thing among some peoples that they know all ... what if it isn't so? Would the end of it be bland?

Ouch. That used to be my family Christmas dinner. Not sure how it works out now. We've lost three due to passings but gained a similar number through marriages so might be a wash. No births in a while but that's just because we are between generations. Two Gen Z members are married so that might change.

If our family all get together theere isa crowd of 22. Once I stopped making the big meals they stopped happening. Thanksgivimg will be a ready cooked chicken from the supermarket.
