Vibes. I had cataract surgery in 2022 but only my left eye was really bad. My vision is now the best it has been since early childhood with the replacement lenses so I suppose it was kind of worth it in the end.
i read on instagram that by the end of this year there may be eye drops people can use instead of gLASses.Think of it

Moving on is tough. It's the one part of retirement I'm not looking forward to. Some of the gang at work are people I've known for the full 27 years I've been there, e.g. the president (who, in her previous role as general manager, was my second interview for the job), the VP Finance (a.k.a. my boss), and the Controller. Others I've gotten to know well over the time I've worked with them.

Some times everything goes with all you put into it because someone didn't want it there ... as thoughts go ... it is how the powers strip it down not knowing what is gone ... ponder that for a chew or deux ...

A book I'm reading by Karen Armstrong declares everything is made in pairs so as to parse it out ... thus word is prodigious ... much of it unheard of as the heards following hero ditty were wasted ... no heros or kings needed with all the support beneath the horizon ... and out of sight!

Yet we are conditioned to search out heros and kings for reason we can't grasp ... so it goes ... platonic!

Waiting until the end of October for my bilateral cataract surgery.
Not being able to drive in the meantime is getting pretty frustrating.
So looking forward to being able to reclaim that independence - at last.
Good luck with your surgery. I agree - itis SO inconvenienn nnnt tonot havedriving rights.

That's because a death has taken place. The death of the way your life was prior to today. May God give you comfort as you navigate this ending and open yourself to new beginnings.
