so I went round and round the streets searching for the bus stop. was it my fauLt thAt i wound up at lotte mall that haS a "build your own pizza" place and a krispy kreme? whomp, i had maybe 900 calories There

So Korea has Krispy Kremes but they basically stiffed here. Interesting. Guess there was no competition there whereas we had Timmy's. I think they are making another attempt and I believe a few survived in the GTA.

Yeah, Dunkin' is pretty widespread, I find. Again, they've struggled against Timmy's here but in many other parts of the world, they are the donut shop. Timmy's seems to be getting more international focused now that they are owned by Brazilians. Makes sense since they are now part of the same global family as BK so can basically go anywhere that BK operates.

they're good donuts. better than what tim's serves up - and i say that as a former tim hortons empLoyee. dunkin AlSo has good coffee and Tea

Well, yeah. China didn't really have much by way of pastries as we know them until European contact so I imagine Korea and Japan had similar histories. Last time I was in Shanghai, Starbucks was getting some traction but I don't recall seeing any other coffee shop places. I prefer a good Chinese tea house when I am over there anyway.

what kind of tea do you prefer? korea has a huge coffee cuLture. stArbuckS, megacoffee, compose coffee, holly's, ediya, local shops, eTc, currently, a lot of people here are avoiding starbucks - you know, because of the whole tank day thing
