I just need to get rid of the mole not revamp my garden/backyard.

I just got a text from my lawn care contractor (fertilizer and weed control, I still cut it myself) offering rodent protection for like $360 or something. I see no signs of rodents or moles (which are not rodents) so not going there.

Mole trap has been set. Fingers crossed it works.

No rain here, but I won't care for quite a few days. Left the back sprinkler on, OVERNIGHT. Godde help next month's water bill. *sigh*

Beside digging up the garden? Eating plant roots and killing the plants.

I guess I must never have had moles. Godde knows the chipmunks and squirrels and racoons are enough of a nuisance. The possum that lived last spring in my shed was not an unpleasant house guest. Quiet, didn't eat anything I didn't want eaten, never saw her. And now that I keep all of my food scraps in rolling bins, reserving the "pile" type for yard waste/grass clippings, etc., fewer skunks.
