I think by "almond chips" he probably means almond slices or pieces rather than flour. I have those on various things like cereal and a couple salads we make for lunches.

I don't have one anymore. Learning to type in high school and used a portable manual that Mom owned for a while but have always used the skill more on computer keyboards than actual typewriters.

I had to take typing and shorthand at school so many years ago. Typing is useful at the computer nowadays but making corrections is harder when your vision is failing. . I never caught on to shorthand.

I am not sure my fingers could handle a mechanical typewriter these days. They are used to the much looser return on computer keys and with my arthritis, not sure they would take too kindly to the effort needed to push an actual key mechanism. An electric maybe, but not a mechanical.

I swear, the weather forecast for this weekend changes hourly. One time it's flurries tomorrow, one time it's not. One time it's 1C high, one time it's 4.

Welcome to Spring! ;) We've had snow most days this week...LAST night it went down to 2F (-17C) and now it's 46F (7C?) and climbing.

We had cold weather at the beginning of the week, yesterday wasn't bad, now today it's cold again. However, I was on a call with a guy in Newfoundland at the beginning of the week and he had just dug out from yet another snowstorm, so I'll take what I got. It can be worse.

It can always be worse

Does the weather seem to be on the tips of some fingers that are fantasised ... digitalized? A sense of dash and spots to avoid ... dotters?
