Hmmm...the printing saga has encountered a very unexpected twist! A printer friend of mine in Elnora phoned to offer a printing option that might dramatically reduce my costs?! There would a LOT of logistics to work out at my end as I would no longer have delivery to my door and other perks, but if the costs savings are significant, it might be worth making the switch (even with the extra hassles). I have a meeting with them Oct. 21st to get price quotes and look over the situation and discuss the options.

The format will change if I end up going with the new print option as it won't be printed as a "newspaper" on newsprint but rather as a newsletter style with a staple on top, or as a magazine. That will require a LOT of changes on my part (and if going the magazine style, will mean I have to change ALL my ad sizes and prices). Will need to see the hard numbers before I make a decision - though, it looks like I'm going to have to do something different anyway as I won't be able to afford to go past Xmas with the current printer with the current costs.

*shivers* I actually found out on the trip that there are ski resorts in Greece. Apparently the mountainous areas do get enough snow, though it sounds like it is a fairly short season compared to here.

Apparently the Coquihala got snow last night and this morning. We've been noticing that the mountains across the strait seem to be whiter on top lately.
