Yep! The striking workers are NOT saving postal service for the customers or rural areas as they claim by striking

Someone who lives in an outlying community pointed out the added expense for rural folk. 52 kms each way to get mail!

Pulled the cucumber plants - not getting enough water and not producing anyway. Thankfully I did get some cucumbers this year as it looked pretty bleak for quite a while. Fingers crossed for next year

Paper deliveries today were stressful! Gone 6 hr 15 mins (I did visit with the coffee gang at the Elnora Drop In for an hour in there) and all but the last 20 mins I was driving in thick fog. So bad when I started out at 5:30 AM (and it was dark!) that visibility was ONLY two dashes in the middle of the road. I think I need more than a nap!
