Ugh Kay. Some booking people don't get it. You may not have bumped someone else out. They have slots for emergent and urgent appointments. They likely put you in one of those. I hope the CT goes well.
Judging from the background talking I think they bumped someone. They do emegencies as soon as they arrive. I know that because someone arrived by ambulance just as I was going for a scan one day.. Did I make a fuss? Of course not. I have been on the other side of that scene and appreciate how quickly emergencies can get handled.
 
I noticed in the far-off past, that most of the ones I had to deal with seemed to think I lived across from the centre and didn't like to allow for my hour travel time to get in.
I once got a call from the teaching hospital to tell me to have my son there within an hour or he would lose his slot and go to the bottom of the list again. That was something that would take at least six hours. Contact husband, drive to pick up son. drive to the city and find the right registration desk. etc. etc. Booking lady got very huffy. I suggested that she either remember her geography or look at a map.
 
In admiration of lack of the concept of SERVICE ... praise the means of venting in ridiculous journal ling as you write along the lonely path where supporting the service is despised ... thus understanding sinks in ...

I used to have this discussion often with administrators that found servicing their claims of perfection ... flawed! I would say cutting your own throats would be helpful in terminating the subject 've! An industrial application is usually sacrificial ... one must give up all thought ...

Fer instance observe the Don ... and how he defines what he knows ( I don' read he claims)! Lights go out all across the globe ... GEO Ghia?
 
We seem to be missing out on that. Temps are staying high enough to keep it liquid here, it seems.
 
LAST as I sit on hold while my ISP's tech support looks into why my IP phone service is being wonky (we can call out but not in).

(Wonky is, of course, a highly technical IT term :giggle:)
 
Looks like there's a problem affecting all of Southwestern Ontario. Healing vibes @BethAnne. Hope you get over it soon. One of my team has something going through his family right now (he has three kids) but has so far evaded it himself. :giggle:

Thanks. Mine is this mysterious whatever it is that keeps knocking me down every once in a while - this is turning into a long while!
