It is white again here, following an overnight dump. Also have a slight mist making everything look like some sort of fairyland. So pretty.

I have a pot of Resurrection soup on the stove waiting for the arrival of the son who rarely visits us. Should be good - Resurrection soup usually is. Good way to use up the leftover bits and pieces.

I just saw a post from our old friend LB. They've gotten a big dump of snow there. She said there was a truck in the photo...... I'm taking her word for it. We have dreary here. I'm not sure what will emerge. It's still early.

Found the truck in this photo.

Ouch. That driver was having a bad day. At least it looks like an inconvenience and not an injury incident.

Why was that truck on the road? There needs to be penalties for trucking companies that operate on roads where OPP have advised people not to drive. Some citizens may feel they have to get home. Companies have deeper pockets, can pay for motel rooms and have trucks that are not generally equipped for deep snow. They think weight and pressure makes up for lack of winter rubber compound and lack of winter tread. It doesn't.

Plus, a truck like this can take out entire highways and more easily kill motorists.

There are silly goals for stupid ideals! Some of these are so far ahead of us that stop and mull over the situations ... they may even creep up on the backside as the thing spins ...

We've had maybe an inch today. Makes everything look clean. It's a bit slippery.

I had one bite of pizza tonight. It was hot and cheesey and I just couldn't resist one bite. We will see what we will see.

And if you're a sausage fan, I have a new fav sausage: Johnsonville's cajun breakfast links. Really nicely spiced; not too hot.

10:04 Monday.

Last, as I enjoy the new McDonald's breakfast item, the Christmas Truffle Cheese Muffin 20241202_093632.jpg
