Knitting and me would like to be friends. There's projects. For a non-knitter, I have three. A pair of fingerless gloves that I started for the old guy, a pair of socks for me, a hat for the big guy. Daughter is looking for me to finish hat so she can use remainder as stripes in a scarf to go with.
 
In addition, having purged my house of wool stashes (including a hilarious Phentex sub-collection and more baby wool and crochet cotton than you could imagine), I somehow, the only occasional knitter, have a bit of an awful stash of my own. Have wyrd yarn, will donate PM me.
 
Wood or bamboo needles are good when the yarn is slippery. Some of the new metal needles are less slippery. It does also take practice.
 
Last. I tried to start a shawl. It involves a cast on that I always have to look up. I master that. I messed up the first simple row. I undid it all. It's bedtime. Better to start something like that earlier in the day.

Sunny but chilly here. Walked from the garage to my office after dropping my car for winter tires.
 
I have numerous totes of yarn on cones along with the two knitting machines I used to use years ago. Not sure what I should do with it all. Maybe try to set up a machine and see if I can manage to use it? Coned yarn doesn't play nicely for hand knitting.
 
Still no white stuff here but I have BA's pictures to remind of what is likely to come eventually. This nice weather can't LAST, can it?
 
I'm screaming and about to throw the computer out of the window! I was able to create 2 greeting proofs this morning without any trouble and when I started on the 3rd, the NEW insert file stopped working like the other one did. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR WHY???????????? It's the ONLY file on my computer that isn't working and it's not corrupt or anything - no error messages or anything like that, it just won't let me do anything or save GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
