Snow is really blowing around so I won't be going to the Christmas market in Bashaw today
In Room for All, Kay said things are pretty rough in her area, too. And, yet, here in Southern Ontario we are still waiting for winter. Chance of flurries next weekend but nothing substantial yet.

We have windchill today too. I thought about driving across town to take more boxes to Sis to look at but I'd have to shovel my car out first and no guarantee I could even get to her house if it's drifting over there too. Still haven't finished shovelling the sidewalks but staying inside for the rest of the day now

My waiting is over. There's a half inch of soggy stuff everywhere.
Meh, you're basically Central Ontario. :giggle: In fact, at work, our Barrie and Orillia offices are part of our North region. Which means, basically, every office North of the GTA, so those two, Huntsville, and the three offices we have in actual Northern Ontario.

"Northern" varies a bit with province, though. I mean, in Ontario, "Southern" is mostly further South than some US states due to how we protrude into the Great Lake Basin, "Central" is the area running eastward from Georgian Bay and includes the Algonquin corridor, "Northern" is above the Great Lakes. But Winterpeg being Northern Canada hardly surprises me. It fits.

My patience needs to last a bit longer as the snow continues. Today's concert has been cancelled as have church services and craft sales. I'm staying home just like lots of other people.

5:21 here in Central Ontario, and the Heron is now last.

(Also, the snow didn't really LAST; fortunately, as just today I was negotiating with sister about delivery of her snowblower to my house. Yes, Bette is going to try to save some bucks by clearing her own driveway this winter. Wish me luck. I think I'd better acquire a warm parka and a pair of decent snowmobile mitts.)

17:32 here in London and why are we giving the time? The system actually tracks that, you know.

18:02 and all is well. No snow here. Used to have a smallish electric snowblower, which I’m thinking of replacing. When I lived in an apartment, didn’t need one. Now that I live in a house again, I miss it.

Last after a phone call with a friend in Edmonton. She's always interesting ....... she talked straight for at least 2 hours. The entire call was about 2.5 hours. Phew. That lasted too long.

This is me not giving a damn about Korea.
