Have you considered using one of those companies that organize estate sales @BethAnne?

You and Sis would remove the items you want to keep and let the company have at it. They take a high percentage of the profits but it would be so much less work and aggravation for you.
We have a local one in town - I asked them LAST fall and they picked out a handful of items and told me to donate or garbage the rest...interestingly, the items that they told me would NEVER sell are the items I've sold this summer

Alright, Luce, let's get real here. It's crucial to stay grounded in facts. Let's focus on what we know. When discussing real-world implications, clarity's what counts.

Let's channel your passion into constructive dialogue that everyone can grasp and benefit from. Deal?

Would you know being contrary to science and observation in ... blind faith? It is the last thing ...

My sis and I joined forces to empty out our mum's house . The neighbours may have decided we were heartless when we regularly erupted into gales of giggles. Why did she have a dozen dresses that would NEVER have been her size? Why hadn't she given the propeller of a plane her brother crashed during WW2 to her brother? His daughter was delighted to get it and take it away. The footstool that was used to store useful bits of brown paper until a piece was needed appeared to be unchanged since 1955. The half made sweater my sister started in her teen years was still in the same box, on the same shelf, complete with pattern, needles and balls of wool. She gave it to a friend to work on.

The family claimed the items they wanted but there was a LOT left. One nephew arranged for a fleet of volunteers with cars to take the remainders to the Day Centre our brother attended. They had an ongoing rummage sale to raise funds for craft supplies, snacks etc..

Yes it's very tough to clear out a loved one's home.

We had to do it when my parents moved into a retirement residence and gave up their house.

They had collections of things which turned out to be much less valuable than they expected. They realized some profit on a few items. I took some sentimental things but a LOT went to donation or the dump. Sad, really.

Well, I have made significant progress the past 2 days - not incredible progress but significant...if I can keep this up maybe I'll have it finished by spring (or even earlier?)?

Last as I keep working on my Children's Sermon. This coming Sunday's title, "Be a Bridge of the Good News"

Snoopy is LAST while enjoying the art exhibit this morning
Thanks :)

Rain LAST night, below freezing this morning...I really hope it isn't icy as I head out in a few minutes to finish the paper deliveries - and it's currently VERY dark so can't even see if there is ice

Really heavy frost here last night and some mist about when i drove to work. But looks like a nice day ahead. Very October.

Truck door was frozen shut but ground/roads were just damp - no ice...papers delivered and BA feels so wiped out that she's just going to collapse in LAST and not move
