My corn ended up better than I expected based on how pathetic it looked - I ended up with 22 small half-formed cobs which is probably equal to 8-9 regular cobs. I still need to pick the beets and it looks like I'll only get carrot tops to dry as I can't see any with carrots under the tops

Just heard from the grant folks...my application is ineligible and I was requested to graciously withdraw it or I will be considered refused (which could hurt chances with future applications)...I withdrew, and I highly doubt I will be applying in the future unless they change the rules, or at least make them all clear at the onset

I have to pay myself a "real" salary - mainly for content creation - and not take personal draw from the company

Wow I can see that being a dealbreaker. Do you have a network of women in businesses in your area? I wonder if they have some wisdom on these things?
