We were planning a family barbeque today which has shifted to ordering in food. Spring is bursting forth here.

I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. So now I'm up and reading Tim Alberta's book "The Kingdom, the Power and the Glory: American Evangelicals in the Age of Extremism". It's very good and informative.

We're heading to Qualicum to spend the day with friends. Three of them are turning 70 within the next month. The first had her birthday yesterday.

Now to enjoy this coffee that will last until the next one.

Sounds like the day we have been having here. It was a lovely morning when I drove to church but it was raining when I came out after the service.
